We all got a body. And we all got an image.💃🏻 I almost didn’t post this picture…in fact, the reason why I didn’t post it along with my other vacay pics is for one reason: I was bloated. 🙈
Yep. Lots of bloat. The hike was gorgeous…we had so much fun…and as the sun came out, we stopped near the river to cool off…and then naturally, a photo shoot occurred. 📸
With the health challenge I have been experiencing, I am prone to bloat. Cute right?!🤪 But as I was looking through my pics this morning, it made me sad. Sad that I wasn’t LOVING myself completely. Sad that I was essentially mad at my God for the way he created me. I mean, why couldn’t I born with a permanently flat, six pack stomach? 🤷♀️ I know this sounds vain…and it is…but I know I am not the only one who looks at themselves in the mirror and thinks a negative thought about their appearance.🙌🏻 With the women I lead, I am constantly speaking IDENTITY and reminding them of their SELF-WORTH! (Side note, these women are AMAAAAZING and you’ll be seeing more of them…you know who you are!) So me NOT posting this pic from a gorgeous hike with my mama goes against EVERYTHING I believe! Everything I stand for.
Which is this: Your self worth comes from the One who made you. 💯
Your self worth is NOT determined by your shape, size, money in da bank, race, sexuality, or success.❌ YOU ARE WORTHY because your creator calls you a MASTERPIECE.👑 YOU ARE ENOUGH.🙌🏻🔥❤️ And all the bloat, wrinkles, cellulite, sagging skin and everything else that is YOU is a part of this BEAUTIFUL masterpiece.👊🏻 So here I am. Standing near the West Fork trail in Sedona…Bloated and Worthy.✌🏻👑
