Well, you’re looking at the toughest #LilMama to grace the mat! I’m not posting videos from her 5th place match (3rd match of the day, I might add) because of the multiple injuries she sustained during the match (ankle & shoulder)... *BUT, I will tell you: she fought through the injuries, the pain, the weight difference, saw it to the bitter end, and #leftitallonthemat today.
You are reading the post of one proud Mama Bear right now... Brianna’s first-ever wrestling match was barely THREE MONTHS ago, to battle for the Varsity spot (which she won), and her season has now come to an end, concluding with her making it all the way to the 2nd day of Texas’ 2019 UIL Girls 1-6A Regionals & placing 6th in the Region for her weight class- a feat that not too many accomplish, let alone in their #rookieyear as a H.S. Junior!
In those 3 months, she has battled 46 Texas Longhorn-beef-fed females (some weighing up to 217 lbs., and most having been raised on wrestling or at least having 3+ YEARS of experience), AND countless injuries (at times coming home with ice packs on both knees & a shoulder simultaneously) but has #neverquit **2018-19 season record: 28-18** #finalday #Regionals2019
#6thplace in the #215pound #weightclass (while weighing in UNDER 190)

Thank you to all the friends & family who have supported & cheered her on in her new sport❤️
