[Ad] Plant-based breakfast haul!
Breakfast is hands-down my favourite meal of the day. I am definitely the type of person who enjoys eating breakfast foods morning or night - they're so yummy and easy to prepare!
In today's post, I've partnered with lightlifefoods to show you a haul of everything I include in my ideal plant-based brekkie!
1. Fruit: I always start my day with fruit in some form or another - whether it's a smoothie, fruit salad, banana nice cream or just a little side of berries like today! Fruit is packed with vitamins, fibre and is easy to digest first thing in the morning.
2. Pancakes: I love pancakes and recently discovered the perfect recipe for a plant-based version! I make mine with whole wheat organic flour so they have more fibre and no gross chemicals (I'm looking at you, glyphosate).
3. Plant-Based Bacon: I didn't think it was possible to have a tasty plant-based bacon until I tried lightlifefoods Original Veggie Bacon. This stuff tastes JUST like real bacon, but with a little more crunch. It is a perfect addition to a big breakfast platter, especially if you're feeding non-vegans. It also goes really well on a breakfast sandwich, BLT or veggie burger, too!
4. Tofu Scramble: If you enjoy scrambled eggs but are looking for a plant-based alternative, you have to try a proper tofu scramble.
