Standard transformation picture as it’s Tuesday✌🏼 - I’d actually lost about 2st in the left picture so even this was not my biggest. I’d say, at a guess, I was 15st and a size 18/20 here? Much to big for someone who is 5’3😳 - From there I stayed the same until end of 2013 when I went on a stupid crash diet thinking to be “skinny” I had to not eat🤦🏻‍♀️! At my lowest I was under 9’10 and surviving on Diet Coke, carrots and humous and then binging after a night of drinking before feeling incredible amounts of guilt and purging my body to get rid of the extra calories. I absolutely abused my body. - I then discovered Body Pump thanks to the lovely @jojoburch_ and realised I HAD to eat more to allow myself to exercise. And slowly but surely I got healthier and stronger. - Last year thanks to my absolute babe @sarahjennifferjayne I really got into the world of weightlifting and I’ve never looked back💪🏼 I feel healthy, strong and most importantly happy. - Ladies please, please PLEASE do not be afraid to pick up a dumbbell. You WILL NOT suddenly sprout muscles. [NAPOK AZ ÉTKEZÉSBEN] . A múlt heti kis agymenés során már láttuk, hogy alapvetően 3 különböző napról érdemes beszélni az étrend kapcsán: tökéletes, vállalható és a "bedobott gyeplő". Kezdjük a legfontosabbal - a tökéletes nappal! . A terembe járók nagy része nem profi sportoló. Magyarországon gyakran a profi sportoló sem csak profi sportoló - a sport és az edzések mellett még dolgoznia is kell (bár nem mindenkinek). Éppen ezért a sportteljesítmény és a fizikumunk nincs az első helyen a prioritások listáján - mert dolgozni kell, pénzt keresni, számlát befizetni, stb. Nem elvárható, hogy tökéletesek legyünk az év minden napján és az étredünknek szenteljük az életünket. Viszont törekedni kell arra, hogy a lehető legtöbb napon az étrendünk tökéletes legyen. . DEFINÍCIÓ: A tökéletes napok: azok a napok, amikor előző este mar összekészítettük a másnapi ételeket, be is dobozoltuk őket, reggel csak ki kell venni a hűtőből és már indulhatunk is. Az étkezéseket többé-kevésbé egyenletesen elosztva fogyasztjuk el a nap folyamán. Napjaink 80-85 % ilyen legyen, ha tényleg szeretnénk jó eredményeket elérni! . Itt fontos kiemelni, hogy a lényeg az, hogy azt esszük, ami elő van írva és mindet elfogyasztjuk, lehetőleg nem egyhelyben ülve, hanem egyenletesen elosztva - ennyi. Nem érdekes, hogy 2-3-4 óra telik el az étkezések között, amíg NAGYJÁBÓL egyenletesen vannak elosztva. . Hogyan csinálájuk ezt? Fogjuk a napi ételmennyiséget, majd kérdezzük meg magunktól: hány étkezés fér ma bele? 3? 4? Legyen mondjuk 3! Osszuk szét 3 részre az ételt. Következő kérdés: mikor keltem, mikor fogok kb. lefekdüni? A kelés után 30 perccel reggeli, lefekvés előtt 1-2 órával vacsora, ebéd a kettő között, kb. félúton. És violá! Máris megvan egy tökéletes nap. . Az angol mondja: Don't sweat the small stuff! - Ne izzadj az apró dolgokon! Az, hogy a reggeli és ebéd között 3 vagy 5 óra telik el nincs hatással a fizikumodra. Az, hogy nem vittél magaddal kaját és a sarki pékségből veszed a reggelit és az ebédet igen. . Currently working on strength with the help of @davidballpt. This is something that is difficult for me as my default setting is fat loss. I have always struggled with my body and body image and always felt like I should lose weight and look a certain way because of my profession, when actually I live what I preach to my clients! I train hard, eat well and strive for balance and my body is a reflection of this. I competed last year and proved to myself I could get my body in competition shape which had always been a goal for me. Would I love it if my body would constantly look comp ready?... hell yes! Today marked the first test day with @j.smith.culture hit a new weigh in low at 86.5 and managed a equal comp PB but on the stiff bar of 250kg and equal comp PB of a measly 130 on the bench. Overall still got some work to do coming in to comp prep but happy to put up another increase on the total with squats aswell. Sometimes it’s not all sunshine, sometimes you have to get in the mud and get dirty 😈💪🏻

Time to turn the page and open a new chapter. Tomorrow is my last day in my current job. A job that I could’ve been in till I retire! I’m leaving my current DHB to work in the region attempting to solve technology and process issues for instead of 1 Hospital the 5 Hospitals in the region. To say it will be a challenge will be an understatement. I will be travelling regularly away from my family, facing problems I have no idea if I REALLY have the skill set to solve. I will miss the relationships I have developed, the comfort of the place I have been daily for over 5 years but I also know it’s time to move and to continue moving forward and growing I must make changes. Ling Ling long post about to go down... Started day 1 today back into powerlifting training for 2018! I feel that weight lifting brings me the most stress relief and quickest route to get me to my fitness goals. I honestly hate to workout and especially when it's cold outside, but it needs to be done. I wanted to let the gym calm down a bit after New year's because you all know how hectic it is when there is a million people at the gym. Follow my story for my weekly workout plan that I'll be posting, along with photos for people that may not know what they are doing. I have a membership at Anytime fitness, so any gym with a barbell or dumbbells will work with what I'm working on.. I'm by no means an expert, but I've trained with experts and have failed in everything so I can give a little insight or advice. My greatest accomplishments have been in the state of Texas & Nevada 🇨🇱 which I'm planning to expand my horizons, so let me know which powerlifting meet I should join for 2018.
