If you want to replace your meal with a protein bar make protein bars at home, the industrial made protein bars are highly processed which is bad. I love what I do. Powerlifting is what I do and it’s one of the few things I do fucking well. But with it, there comes a continuous mental battle ‘I’m fluffy, I’ll never be lean, I am so manly, I can’t fit into my normal clothes’. Something so small in life, really? How to Sumo Deadlift with Dumbbell? Stand with your feet very wide, wider than shoulder width apart with a dumbbell in the middle of your feet. Make sure your toes point outwards. Bend at the hips to grab one end of a dumbbell with both hands, arms hanging in front of you. Tighten your abs and lift the dumbbell by straightening your legs and standing up straight. Keeping your chest and head up, lower your hips until the dumbbell passes through the knees. Make sure to keep your weight on the heels and bend through your hips and knees. I believe there are 2 types of people in the world. Ones who choose to accept where they are and often even complain about it and ones who do something about it to improve said position (also ones who accept to look like they have peed themselves training hard and not give a fuck and people who give too many fucks, clearly I’m the first) Maybe not every single day.... because where all human. I’m still here, practicing patience as I continue to build what I envision for my Body. . I often get asked questions like ‘how long did it take for you to begin to grow your legs?’ Or ‘how long will it be until I grow a bum?’. . The realty is, progress takes TIME. I’ve been weight training for around 4 years now... With 3 years of what I’d say is ‘proper’ lifting. . Usually when I tell people that, they feel discouraged that it will take that long. . But if we always put off pursuing our goals because it’ll ‘take too long’, we will spend our lives stuck, never achieving anything extraordinary. . See, the truth is, time WILL pass, anyways. Whether our goal relates to our career, a sport, our physique, or anything... years WILL pass. . So we might as well spend them progressing, rather than complaining about how work is hard, we’re not making it in our sport or were unhappy in our body. Right? . My advice? Don’t waste that time. Begin, begin today.

Squats & bench working with 4s at 85%1RM. ◾️ Had some light all over doms and bit of a shoulder/bicep niggle but that didn’t affect performance. ◾️ Worked up to a single on both lifts at 8-9RPE before backing off to my working sets. ◾️ Currently happy with how week 1 has gone hoping deadlifts won’t let me down today. ◾️ The following weeks will increase in intensity while the volume will drop things normally start feeling stronger at the end of week 2.

Today was a cardio day at the gym. This program I’m on is killer. Today’s was called chisel cardio and 15 minute glute chisel! 🙌🏼 it’s hard but great too! Some moves are a tad hard just cause I don’t have the balance in my knees yet (ex. Split squats with exercise ball ).....I didn’t give up though! I kept pushing!💪🏼 - - These are a few of what I did. I’m normally a make my own workout kind of person but shocking your body with other stuff (like this program) helps you not plateau! 😊list below of what I did on the cardio part.....some are shown, some are not! Do 1 minute each then a 1 minute break and repeat :) (glute workout not shown or listed!) - - -over the top or bench jump over -pull ups -kettle bell swing -Russian twist -burpee -sword pull -forearm plank kick -side step up kick -sumo jack -split squat with exercise ball DOOOOOOOOOOOOONE😅 at Colorado
