Four miles at an 8:10 pace! I can’t complain. Three weeks out from my next Spartan Sprint and I’m feeling great. If you’re wondering how I can run so fast even though I hardly run at all, your answer is right there in that question. A huge mistake that people make when it comes to running (or lifting, or anything else really) is overdoing it. I run maybe twice a week, and I only lift three. I mix up my conditioning a lot with different circuits and I hit the Stairmaster. Every athlete is different of course, but rest is crucial for everyone. Don’t burn yourself out in one area! .

2sets 12reps 70kg
- chest supported row
2sets 12reps 40kg

I always have pretty good leg days but this is one of the best ones in a while. I trained with @cruzhall today and he always pushes me to go a bit harder.
Started off with barbell box squats
2 warmups no box, 2-3 warmups w/ box
Work sets: 3x10, 1x8 same weight
Sets of 8 until you get to a challenging weight (you’ll know when it starts to get difficult around 6 reps) 1 set at a challenging weight, as many reps as you can. Shoot for more than 8 reps.

Reverse banded hack squats
Same set/rep scheme as leg press
I was dead from the box squats by the time we got to the banded hacks. On my work sets I aim for 8+ reps, unfortunately I failed on rep 5. I didn’t give up though, dropped the weight 90lbs and banged out 8 hard reps (I think)
Finished up with 2 drop sets at 3 plates 10-12 reps.

Today made 47 consecutive days of working out! On December 31st, 2018 I made a vow to myself to workout every single day in 2019 no matter what!! Wether its 30 minutes of yoga or a quick 20 minute ab session, there will be some form of movement! Is it easy to workout every day? absolutely not (especially when I work 50 hours a week) but It is the challenge/discipline that I seek. The more structured I am, the more focused I am! I've agreed to view everything going forward the exact same way I viewed my 14 day juice cleanse/detox. For 14 days I drank only juice and water. I wanted to give up so many times but I kept the commit that I made to myself on day 1. No matter what 2019 bring I will not miss a workout!
Today I trained at Planet Fitness since it is so close to my house and my main gym UFC is 20 miles away! I've decided to make Planet Fitness my weekend gym and train at UFC Monday-Friday before work!
Remember you are capable of anything you put your heart and mind to! Your future solely depends on how badly do you want it!

Jordan Jordan Belfort 🗣🗣 Spent most of this week fighting a cold 🤧🤧 but felt good enough this morning to grind. Might have packed to many workouts in today though but had to try and slowly catch up .
