I’m still here, practicing patience as I continue to build what I envision for my Body. .
I often get asked questions like ‘how long did it take for you to begin to grow your legs?’ Or ‘how long will it be until I grow a bum?’.
The realty is, progress takes TIME.
I’ve been weight training for around 4 years now... With 3 years of what I’d say is ‘proper’ lifting.
Usually when I tell people that, they feel discouraged that it will take that long.
But if we always put off pursuing our goals because it’ll ‘take too long’, we will spend our lives stuck, never achieving anything extraordinary.
See, the truth is, time WILL pass, anyways.
Whether our goal relates to our career, a sport, our physique, or anything... years WILL pass.
So we might as well spend them progressing, rather than complaining about how work is hard, we’re not making it in our sport or were unhappy in our body.
Don’t waste that time.
