Cash money! So this adult thing comes with a lot of cool stuff like being able to eat dessert for dinner and getting to stay up as late as you want but what the world didn't tell me when I was younger was all about the other not so cool stuff. The worrying about being able to meet all your financial obligations and trying to manage your complex adult relationships. Ja that stuff. That's the not so fun stuff. I have a recurring day dream of what I would do if I won the lottery (as I am sure 98% of the population do from time to time) and it always involves buying a beautiful home (think queer eye for the straight guy kinda vibes), quitting the rat race and travelling the world. But if I am not careful that fantasy can very quickly go from a fun marshmallowy way to pass the time in traffic to making me feel like my current reality is not good enough. In fact, the life I have right now is enough, more than enough. I get to walk up every morning in a cosy bed next to the man I love (and a very cute sausage dog), in a little home filled to the top with love, gentleness and furbabies. I get to move my able, healthy body everyday and laugh and love on the wonderful humans I have in my corner. And yes, I even get to have cake for dinner from time to time. It's a meaningful life and what it lacks in lottery wins, it makes up for in bags and bags of joy, sunsets, hand hollding on the beach, bear hugs, hearing the words I love you and and and and. This little life, exactly as it is, I am damn grateful for. Every. Single. Впервые побывала в Сочи и его окрестностях в сентябре 2018, второе поездка состоялась в феврале 2019. Прошлое посещение не оставило каких-то особых впечатлений, Сочи - зелёный симпатичный город, но не зацепил. Для летнего отдыха на побережье не рекомендую, есть места, где море гораздо более волнующее, а отели предлагают лучший сервис за те же деньги. В этот же раз я познакомилась с Красной Поляной❤️ и наверное, впервые в жизни, увидела по-настоящему большие горы🏔. Чистый красивый посёлок с первоклассными горнолыжными курортами притягивает большое количество туристов и конечно же молодежь. Особое место, со своей атмосферой, тусовкой и образом жизни, так не похожее на Россию, в ее типичном понимании(суровую, в зимнее время серую, местами, отсталую). Маленькая Европа. Однозначно, одно из лучших мест нашей страны, сюда хочется вернуться вновь🥰. Busy, long and amazing week ❤ Feeling all the love at the moment being surrounded by such incredible people. Started the day with a sweaty run along the seafront. Spent the rest of the day doing really boring, but essential van things. Filled the water tanks, went to the laundrette, spring cleaned the van, aired the bedding and finished it all with a shower 😛 The showers at the marina are solar and not great at this time of the year. But, a shower is a shower (it's also free) and it was just off ice cold which meant I could WASH MY HAIR. Happy Friday! Have you checked out @naturallife yet? Love their merch ❤️ I also love getting my daily “chirp” of inspiration. People have asked how I’ve stayed so positive during this whole heart surgery journey. My response is that it sure beats negativity. Don’t get me wrong, my mind traveled (and still travels) to the dark places of “what ifs?”. It can ruin you! I’ve had my fair share of being knocked down. Yes heart surgery rocked my world at 35, but my husband and I have gone through five unsuccessful rounds of IVF, and we lost a beautiful baby girl back to her birth mother after going through the adoption process. We ALL have experienced heartache and sadness. It’s how we fight to keep a positive mindset and use the love around us to pull through and move forward. My life has been messy at times, but it’s wonderful. I wouldn’t change a thing. “So what if your life’s a little messy. Perfect isn’t the plan. Purpose is!!!!!
