Vegan fish that you can NOT tell is vegan, unhealthy store bought tartare sauce and veg. This is how you SUSTAIN veganism!
Over the last few months we’ve seen 4 of the biggest “vegan” youtubers say they now eat fish. Conveniently while we’re in the middle of an ocean environmental crisis and need to be eating fish less than ever before (spoiler alert tuna is caught before it’s at an age to reproduce, do that math). Theres a catch though, these people were never vegan. They were “health fanatics” trialing extreme and dangerous fasts and diets.
These people did month long water fasts (no food for a month) and lived off sugar cane juice for over a week and called papaya -a fruit with no nutrients a meal. They profited along the way. Of course they got sick. We vegans need to eat balanced diets and indulge in mock meat occasionally which is fortified with b12 and omegas that you would find in real meat and eat soy ice cream when the world sucks. Of course you can’t sustain fruit, zoodles and 40+ hours of work. Veganism is also a lifestyle about the environment and ending animal testing, leather, fur, rodeos, circuses, dog breeding and of course farming. It’s not a diet. If you’re only here for the insane raw diets please don’t tarnish the vegan name, call yourself PLANT BASED!
Y’all weren’t vegan, please stop taking using the word, edit your titles to say “why I’m no longer plant based”, you never lived indulgent vegan lifestyles.
Normally I’d never call someone our publicly but these people sold meal plans with their dangerous fruit diets and “educated” thousands to starve themselves and over exercise now they’re saying “oh I’m sick”, where does that leave those who followed you religiously? Sick? Be accountable. @rawvana @rawalignment @bonnyrebecca @stella.rae
There’s no such thing as organic, humane meat. Taking a fish out of water is equivalent to holding a dogs head under water. You’re suffocating them. “Right is right even if no one is doing it, wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it”
