Coming into most race weekends I set myself a few goals to aim for. This weekend was pushing braking markers a bit further since I had some new pads to try out.... Job done for the weekend....Results wise I qualified 3rd in the cup and 9th overall which is by far my best result so far on circuits. Finished up the 3 races over the weekend in 6th, 5th and 5th again for the final race and a best lap over the weekend of 1.49.3 Not super quick but heading in the right direction at last thanks to having the bike behave how I like and a nice little confidence boost with swapping over to michelin tyres so I'm really looking forward to my last two events of the season and see if we can progress a bit more before winter kicks in. Monday's.....😫 Made all the worse by feeling like I've been hit by a bus. What a weekend at the Roberts Cove hillclimb. Baking sunshine on day one followed by a bit of a wet/dry mix on day 2. Tucked the front at about 130kph on corner entry and continued along that white oil line into the fence and back across the road like a human pinball. Nice little bit of a project taking shape this evening. Learning to TIG weld aluminium along the way. Air intake, dash mount and fork lock stops all combined in one piece. Just have to mock it up on the bike before adding the finishing touches.
