My Mindful Morning routine varies with what my life needs at the moment, but it is always a priority!! My foundation never changes, and it includes movement/yoga, meditation/prayer, a moment for gratitude, and a cup of Rasa Koffee (adaptogenic herbs) mixed with Bulletproof coffee. I also love to journal, repeat positive affirmations and always run doTERRA Essential Oils (my favs right now are Motivation, Peace & Joy) ✨.
I generally wake up at 5:15 a.m., and I spend (hopefully) 45 min of uninterrupted time dedicated to myself. Maybe that sounds selfish, but I guarantee it’s a game changer. Because when my girls wake up, and it’s go time, my energy and love is directed to who needs me throughout the day. And that’s ok, because I’ve started the day with self-care, and I’m feeling peaceful, gracious and motivated! ❤️
When I wake up, I start preparing my coffee, start running an oil in my diffuser and drink a full glass of water. Then, it’s time for my practice. I generally start with yoga, because I need movement to wake up! This is followed by meditation with gratitude and prayer. Journaling and affirmations follow this. Often, I’ll write things that pop into my mind during meditation (you’ll find when you slow down and be quiet, answers come to you). And after completing these practices, I’m ready to start my day! 🌞
I cannot express enough how much this has improved my life, and that is also why I created the Mindful Morning Box with everything I love! I literally have a corner of my room that is set up with all the things that I need for my routine.
