I may have moved my legs 1/4” off the floor😬 give it a shot! #Repost @achievefitnessboston with @get_repost ・・・ WANT TO DO HANGING LEG RAISES?? - What’s up Achievers, @laurenpak22 here and today we’re talking hanging leg raises! These are a staple in gymnastics training, and have become more mainstream in recent years! However, they’re very hard to do and require a lot of core strength as well as hamstring flexibility! - Today I wanted to show you a great floor exercise to work on if leg raises are something you would like to work up to! These are called seated L-sit leg raises, and while they may look easy, they’re actually pretty darn challenging! - Take a seat with both legs pointed out straight. Place your finger tips on the floor at about your the distance of your knees. From there, round your upper back, and lift your feet off the ground while maintaining a rounded upper back. Leaning back will make this feel easier, but won’t mimic the hanging leg raise as well! As you get comfortable here, continue reaching your hands further forward to increase the challenge! - If you can’t quite do these get, try bending your knees sightly. This takes away the flexibility aspect and shortens the lever to make it a little easier. As you practice, you can gradually straighten your legs out to increase the challenge! - We hope you find this helpful!! Any questions about the seated L-sit leg raise? Chest N Tris ft. Some dirty ass mirrors 👀 🎶 : Hayden James - Just Friends . . 🔹Tricep rope push downs (my all time fave tricep workout) 🔹Overhead dumbbell extensions 🔹Single arm cable chest pushes (targets that armpit bra fat area 🙅🏻‍♀️) . When it comes to chest, I stay away from pushups because I suck at them and it puts strain on my shoulders lol 👶🏻 I also don’t really enjoy bench press but I'll do them if I have to and since I’m done with organized sports, I DON’T HAVE TO! 😆 ..so I stick to the cable and dumbbell stuff 💜 . I also did a 4 exercise lying down barbell circuit I’ll have to post another time which included: . Skull crushers, overhead straight push outs, 90 degree rotating shoulder thing, and some titty pumps 🤷🏻‍♀️ at Grand Rapids, Michigan

Deadlifts are starting to feel easy which could be put down to the frequency I’m lifting as well as the additional assistance work I’m doing. After years of training in the gym, I got bored of static training where day in and day out I would be doing the same exercises. Last year I took up Olympic weightlifting, and it has added so much variety and excitement to my training ever since. I always tell my clients that if they aren’t enjoying what they do when they come into the gym, it’s time for a change. This is why I incorporate a lot of Olympic style lifting into my own and even some of my clients workouts. This adds so much more intensity to the workout and a lot more emphasis on technique and explosiveness, which will transfer over into strength and muscle gains🔥 The moral is to find a style of working out that is fun for you. Don’t just mindlessly go through the motions of your workout - really try and make that mind-muscle connection with every exercise that you perform🧠💪🏼 #bestronger #mindmuscle #justlift at Toronto, Ontario
