This is apparently PG, so little kids can see it! Jaws is about a killer shark entering the waters of a beach resort, causing a local sheriff, a marine biologist, and a seafarer to hunt it down. Let’s be real short here; this film is great. Even though it was released more than 30 years ago, it still holds up as a great movie. The suspense Spielberg creates in this film is unremarkable, though most of the credit should go to John Williams, his score is amazing. You know it’s intense when you get sweaty palms even though the shark hasn’t even appeared yet. There’s also great character dynamics between the three main characters, that give some great moments of film, as well as putting them in crazy scenarios that are very entertaining to watch. All three characters undergo development and have nice arch, so you can almost connect with them. Overall Jaws is a great film, it seems to get better with its age. I’d give Jaws an A
