A super last minute trip to Tokyo and had Sushi for Dinner last night. A good friend booked only yesterday for us here at Kizaki(きざ㐂) Tablelog 3.78.
This head chef was the disciple of Tokami.
Setting is a typical zen with a comfortable 8 seat counter.
Service was friendly and welcoming.
Chef speaks English and some Cantonese too.
Ingredients used are of good quality.
Their seaweed was outstanding.
Otsumame lean towards strong flavours.
The red vinegar shari was on the large side, unstably packed, generously al-dente with a gentle mild flavour.
Not bad but still has a lot of room for improvements.
