After the snow fall comes the quiet. The particular span of time when everything comes to a standstill. All you see is fumes coming out of the chimneys located on the roof of every household. The clouds become neighbors and a thick white coat surrounds you. The wind carries little particles of stardust with it and all you can hear is absolute quiet. The difference is that it is not deafening, it's peaceful.
On one of those walks in the apple forests of old Manali that takes the picture of "Wintefell" in December. A series of dead trees, covered in white cloak standing still. It's unclear foggy world ahead feels like this whole new dimension I haven't seen before and I rush towards it, higher and further. My vision ahead and back is unclear, I don't know weather to go back or go on moving ahead towards that unknown wonderland. Hoping it will be so beautiful that it'll ease down all thoughts for good.
It's mad how every experience we live has something more to it than we realise. When our world comes to standstill, we need to make ourselves move.
While you're surrounded by quiet and your vision is blur, do you stop or do you move on? Every time we go on a steep hike, and we don't know what that wonderland is about that we are chasing. You walk higher and further , that moment when your heart pounds so fast that you can hear it clear in your ears. The question is do you keep chasing that unknown wonderland for one glimpse of beauty and happiness or do you stop?
Life is similar to a trek, it's a struggle to reach the summit. But believe in that wonderland and that one glimpse of true beauty and happiness. When you reach the summit, you'll experience bliss. 💜 at Himachal Pradesh
