Either she’s gotten heavier or I’ve lost all my strength from being so sick for 2.5 weeks😥I’m hoping it’s more that she’s gaining weight! . . We have been through a rough 7 months with this little one but i think we are finally turning a corner! She spit up at least 20 times a day and wasnt gaining any weight. She cried/screamed constantly and was on a very aggressive reflux medicine regime. I cried a lot with her. Out of frustration, hopelessness but most importantly our of fear that something was really wrong and i didn’t know how to fix it. . . I haven’t been the best friend. I haven’t been the best wife. I’ve been stretched to my limits and wanting to jump out of my skin. Then feeling guilty for feeling broken down and as if i couldn’t handle the situations. A crying baby all day is enough to drive anyone crazy, let alone a mom who can’t seem to do anything to make it stop. . . I look back on those moments of pure exhaustion, frustration, and hopelessness and what seemed like a time that was never going to get better has become a distant memory. . . Being a parent is HARD!! Borderline traumatic at times lol. I dreaded feeding her because i knew it was all going to come back up followed by hours of screaming. I dreaded putting her to bed because i knew she was going to be up all night. . . But here we are...sleeping through the night and holding down food😃 . . It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to tell someone you need a little break to clear your mind and hear your own thoughts for a few minutes. It’s okay to take time for yourself to do the things you love and that will help you be a more patient Mom. It’s okay to cry with them. . . There is light at the end of the tunnel and those difficult moments that seem to last forever go by with the blink of an eye. We need to cut ourselves some slack!! 💥Single arm db press💥 . Good variation to add to chest workouts. This will develop stabilisers throughout the chest and shoulder joints and will assist with core stability. . Some Hiit for the 2nd work out today. - Ran a mile “warm up” then did 5 sets of this (set 5 shown) with a @b_reeezy 2 min rest in between sets. - I’ve taken about 2 min off my mile in about 3 weeks. So I’m not complaining. - Work Out: • 35 sec battle ropes switch half way • 365 lb farmer carry (10 yards one way) • 2 min rest @1stphorm #wedothework

Another thing I love about the KIC program - it’s great when your sick. Now obviously if your bed ridden > rest, but toward the end of sickness when you need something that is going to make you sweat all the oogie boogies out, the KIC workouts are perfect. 30 minutes of exercise that’ll make you sweat ! :: Checkin’ in, on a Tuesday, got yo girl up in the gym & she chooseyyyy 🎧💪🏼🤣:: Meals are clean & lean this week. My lunch was awesome today - grilled chicken, bean salad, & sweet potatoes 🍴 . Tonight I tackled a SWEATY ::Tabata/HIIT Workout:: ->Sharing in case you want to try something new! Go through each exercise for max reps in 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds in between each set (I use my phone stopwatch to track time). Repeat x8 rounds!! Ohh you will be sweaty (I thought looks easy enough LOL I was wrong and was covered in sweat by the end) 😳💦 🔥Burpees 🔥Squats 🔥Tricep Dips 🔥Mountain Climbers 🔥Kettlebell Swings (use a lighter weight since there are 8 rounds - I used 10 lbs)
