When it comes to olive oil, this is the stance to take. There are 9 types of “olive oil”, with 3 of them being natural (aka not treated with chemicals or other processing), they are:
🏆Extra Virgin (best available; high quality, high antioxidants, fights free radicals, diet rich oil studied for its positive correlation against reducing risk of various illnesses, including: heart disease, Alzheimer’s, eyesight damage, inflammation, bone loss, and more).
🥈Virgin (not as high of quality compared to EVOO, visible in taste to some but not all).
🚫Lampante (not for consumption without treatment. Once this type is treated, it can then be consumed...but becomes a refined oil). at Noe Valley, San Francisco
