the hamburger bahnhof museum was a little bit weird but still had a lot of things to look at, I won't forget it anytime soon! I found that the use of neon lights in one of the galleries was quite fun . . . . . . . . . . . #berlin #interesting #travel #explore #germany #photography #shadows #history #gdinberlin #design #architecture #graphicdesign #face #berlinart #art #streetart #berlinwall #berlinhistory #berlin🇩🇪 #hamburgerbahnhof #museum #neon #neonlights at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin

____________________________________________ 📅 Oktober 2012 📷 Canon EOS 7D 🔭 Canon EF-S 17-85 f/4-5.6 IS USM ____________________________________________ #deutschland #germany #berlin #museum #hamburgerbahnhof #kunst #art #skulptur #sculpture #malerei #paintings #andywarhol #travelling #travel #reise #urlaub #holidays #canon #canoneos #eos at Berlin, Germany

Henryk Berlewi, Mechano-Faktur, 1924. ▫️ ▫️Henryk Berlewi was a Polish painter, graphic artist, art critic, theoretician, who was a leading representative of the 1920’s avant-garde and one of the artists that paved the way for Optical Art. ▫️ ▫️Berlewi was a leading figure in the Constructivist movement in Poland in the 1920’s, known for his advanced Constructivists paintings, drawings and his cutting edge graphic designs which were based on his Mechano-Faktura theory. ▫️ ▫️Berlewi’s Mechano-Faktura was inspired by the use of non-traditional materials in Kurt Schwitters’ Dada collages and the aesthetics of Russian Constructivism. Its basic principle was the rejection of spatial illusion in painting to emphasise the two-dimensionality of the canvas. Berlewi reduced his colour palette to black, white and red and replaced the effect of textures with visual equivalents arranged in rhythmic lines and geometric shapes such as circles and squares. ▫️ ▫️The mechanisation of the visual components in Berlewi’s work resulted in a new abstract language which intended to mirror the rhythm of the quickly changing society which the Constructivists where living in at the time. ▫️ ▫️ #henrykberlewi #berlewi #polishartist #graphicartist #arttheory #constructivist #constructivism #constructivistart #dada #black #white #red #mechanofaktura #line #geometricshapes #berlin #hamburgerbahnhof #art #artdaily #arthistory #historyofart #historyart #arthistorian #arthistorianlife #arthistory101 #arthistorynerd #arthistorystudent at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin

And what are you waiting for? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #zeitgefühl #gestrandet #bahnhöfe #blogger #waiting #sbahn #bahnhofsmission #gestrandetambahnhof #hvvgirl #harburg #hamburgharburg #bahnhof #sbahnhh #zeitgefühlverloren #hamburgerbahnhof #hvv #waitingfor #blogger_hamburg #zeit #inderruheliegtdiekraft #s3 #time #gestrandete #hvvootd #wartenwartenwarten #gestrandetinhamburg #sbahnhamburg #warten at Hamburg, Germany

#berlin #hamburgerbahnhof #writing at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin
