There’s a lot that goes into achieving a new look, and oftentimes when we do consultations for new clients they have a lot of questions about what goes into pricing and how we calculate what we quote. We thought it might be helpful to break down the services and pricing on one of our recent clients to show all of the steps that go into the results you’re paying for.
•We started off with a full balayage for a complete blonde look. This means that all of Kayla’s ends were touched with bleach, so we made sure to do a protein bonder mix to ensure that while lifting we were still rebuilding the bond and protecting the integrity of her hair. (Heavy Full Density Balayage - $225 / Protein Bonder Mix In - $20)
•It may not look like it in this picture, but the girl has A LOT of hair which required extra time and extra color bowls. (Color Bowl Charge - $30 / Time Charge - $40)
•We did a shadow root to create a seamless transition from the blonde to her base. This makes the roots look soft and keeps there from being a harsh contrast when her hair starts to grow out. PS. Spending a little more money on a natural-looking color application up front means you won’t have to pay for touch ups as often since new growth blends better as your hair grows. (Shadow Root - $50)
•Any blonde that is lifted reveals a raw looking blonde, so it’s important to apply a toner neutralize brassy yellow and orange tones on bleached hair. (Toner - $50)
•Finally, we added a Keratin bonding protein treatment and a moisture treatment These last two steps are the most important to keep the hair healthy long-term, but are also the two things that people always want to skip on to save on money. (Keratin Bonding Protein Treatment - $40 / Moisture Treatment - $30)
