Rack pulls this morning, x15, x12, x8, x4 started at 50kg then managed 60kg by the end. Slowly starting my training on my upper body. Good pull session today, slowly building my upper body strength back. Very frustrating having an injury that just won’t go away & the amount of rest time you have to give it or if you aggravate it, it sets you back weeks. It’s knowing the amount you can do with your body without pushing yourself too far. GOOD MORNING #FITFAM!! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty chill. - On Saturday I done double gym, didn't done that for ages. My body was asking for extra sweat, so I gave it 💪🏼😉 - Saturday morning was focused in heavy weight (squats and deadlifts) my legs were jelly. They were dead. Hardly ever could walk. But wouldn't be me if I didn't end my session with a finisher. Today, Monday, two days after, the pain in my legs is incredible. (repost cuz the video got deleted because of copyright issues) Random vids that I got at the hotel gym in Ottawa This weekend was full of indulgences, but now it’s time to get back to my food and gym routine. The past few days were full of good food (yummy, but not nutritionally healthy), and I defiantly feel the effects it has on my body since I have not eaten like that in a while. It’s hard for me to accept that it is normal to feel like this after spending a weekend eating irregularly from normal eating habits. I feel bloated, low energy, tired, and honestly, low confidence all together I eat healthy because it makes me feel good, it fuels my body and makes me feel energized, and this is a good reminder to myself that I am on the right track to continuing this healthy lifestyle. It’s all about the reasons why you do something, and that will determine how the goal (long or short term) will play out.
