I commend anyone that can cook and film on the regular. My induction hob means that when I’m stirring the pan I’m really just pushing the pan across the top and on and off the heat... how do you fit a 45 minute workout into 35 minutes? Supersets and low rest times 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 . for some odd reason my alarm was set for 8:30 instead of 4:30 but thankfully my body clock had me up at 5, so I was only 15 minutes late getting to the gym ☺️ . here's the workout I squeezed in: 🍩conventional deadlifts 3x8-10 (10@135, 8@155, 8@155) 🍩landmine rows 4x8 🍩chest supported high grip row ss neutral grip row 3x10 each side *high grip gets upper back/rear delts, neutral gets mid back 🍩lat pull downs ss straight arm pull overs 3x10 🍩low rope face pulls ss rope bicep curls 3x10 at Fit Focus - Laconia, NH

#Repost @benhodgkinspt looking strong and shredded👌💪🏼 ・・・ SEATED LOW ROW _ Back with another back tutorial (makes sense right 👀) this time we are keeping a staple movement, the low row, but altering it slightly with the handles to change the dynamic of the movement. ‼️MAKE SURE TO SAVE‼️ _ 1️⃣ - use the two handle attachments on the same carabiner and start with an overhand grip with your palms facing the floor 2️⃣ - keeping your chin tucked, core braced and back straight pull the handles towards your midriff rotating your hands so your palms face towards each other 3️⃣ - allow your body to lean back slightly past a 90 degree angle to enhance the ability to squeeze your lats 4️⃣ - this contraction is achieved by squeezing your shoulder blades together as you pull your elbows back as far as you can keeping your wrists solid. 5️⃣ - pausing at the top for about a second keeping everything braced and tight, allow your arms to return to the original position and your body to slightly lean forward. KEEP YOUR CHEST UP, CHIN TUCKED AMD BACK STRAIGHT THOUGH‼️ _ The @nutricastle stringer showing my back work fully (ignore the acne, it annoys me too) throughout the entire movement. _ This workout was a sweaty one last Friday night but the pump was insane! IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU START - you can learn and blossom where you are planted. HAHAHHA AS YOU CAN SEE, NO I WAS NOT “BLESSED” or lucky, IT IS NOT IN MY GENES, I DON’T BELIEVE IN SHORTCUTS OR FAD DIETS AND NO IT WASN’T AN EASY ROAD✋ I’m sorry y’all have to hear me repeat this but I want to show you that even my before photo was TECHNICALLLY my after photo. 😐😐😐 A lot of people will say “it was easy cos you started off skinny” but guess what? I wasn’t like that before that photo either. HAHAHA my before photo NOW was my AFTER photo at the time🤔 I had a phase during my surgery where I was unhealthy, unwell and unhappy with my body. After my surgery I was NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING. I didn’t care about myself enough to even exercise until my best friend at the time started training and all I knew was the treadmill and cycling machine 🚲🏃🏻‍♀️ I obviously have had progress shots in between and NO it hasn’t taken me 6 years to get to where I am. However, what I’m trying to say is that, I have had SO MANY ups and downs in my fitness journey over the past few years where I jump on the fitness train and jump straight off🤦🏻‍♀️ Habits take time when you replace the bad with good ones. When I was 18, I used to work 50hours at my old job which included grave yard shifts, juggle six days of university and attended business events so that I could provide more support to my household. My health was not a priority and I burnt out. No amount of money is worth sacrificing your health. I am so thankful for everything I’ve learnt about living a healthier lifestyle and taking care of myself. I’m so proud of who I am and how far I’ve come because this is only the BEGINNING.
