Thursday morning butt and gut workout! I’ve been working on my current program for eight and a half weeks, and I’m in desperate need for a change. So although I plan on finishing out my ten week program, I needed to take a little break and try something different! I’m struggling today. Every single part of my body is sore, I’m tired, I’ve got a cold and I’m hungry. Usually on days like today I would just go straight home after work, stick a hoody on and order a pizza, but here I am, I might have dropped my weight today and having an extra minute between sets but I’m here, I’m getting my shit done. Respondiendo la pregunta que algunos me suelen hacer. Antes o después de pesas el CARDIO ❓❓ . Esto es lo que ocurre cuando haces primero cardio: el ejercicio cardiovascular consume el glucógeno de tus músculos. Cuando haces pesas después del cardio, tus músculos no pueden llegar a su máximo esfuerzo, porque están fatigados y no les queda suficiente combustible. Es menos efectivo. . Si haces pesas primero, tus músculos están frescos. Eso quiere decir que puedes levantar más peso, más veces, y así estimular a tus músculos para que crezcan. . Hacer pesas primero también te ayuda a quemar grasa. Cuando haces cardio suave a continuación, has agotado una mayor parte del glucógeno de tus músculos, y tu cuerpo se ve obligado a usar la grasa como combustible. . Empieza con un calentamiento suave de no más de 5 minutos, y lánzate por las pesas, intentando llegar al tu límite cada día. Después, puedes hacer unos 30-45 minutos de cardio suave, durante los cuales quemarás sobre todo grasa. 🎁🏋🏼‍♀️HOLIDAY 🏋🏼‍♀️ 🎁 Do you often find it hard to find time during the holidays to get to the gym? HIIT is an easy, FAST and effective way to burn a lot of calories and get a good sweat. On a day you don’t have a gym or have time it’s amazing. It can be done basically anywhere with no equipment. If I can inspire anybody, one person, to get motivation to do a workout it would be amazing! 💜😍 . . HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training - 10-20min of short and intense burst of physical activity. Paired with interval of short rests. An interval usually last 30-60 seconds and can be done with weights, by sprinting or with body weight! . I was enjoying Christmas with my fiancé and some great friends! Aaaaaand of course I had to get a workout in. Since the gym closed early, I pushed all 4 of us through an at-home HIIT workout! Muscle jiggle too So many of my friends and clients - what the heck, even my self at times - worry a lot about everything. 🏋🏼‍♀️🙌🏻MOTIVATION🙌🏻🏋🏼‍♀️ . I’ve been super stressed lately and had a lot of things going on, which has put my mentality a little out of the game. Those are the times where you need to know that not every day and not every week is a good workout week. Being exhausted and tired mentally, also takes resting. What I did, was cut down a little on work and workout and instead add some HIIT to switch up my routine. Switches and breaks helps a looooootttttt and it’s okay. Doesn’t matter what your program says you have to do, do what you can and feel like doing.
