Fly by the Tetons! This was taken last year before the winter set in (Check this Instagram link for a timelapse, https://tinyurl.com/y2rkh78x). Quite the experience watching a sunrise on the Tetons. Also, a great photo bomb with some diffuse background city lights. Like and comment if you want to see more! Thanks! . . . . . This was a very special moment for me. I have loved Ansel Adams since I was a kid. I remember buying my very first print; it was this same view of the Snake River, but seen through Ansel Adams’ lens. It was my first purchase for my first apartment. It has hung on the walls of every apartment since and is now on the walls of our first house. When I got the chance to stand in the very same spot and take my own photo of the Snake River, I got goosebumps. Yes, the trees have grown up so much in the years since Ansel Adams took his iconic photograph, but the feeling he captured is still the same. It was so special to be able to share the moment with my son. The enormity of that is still with me and I’ll treasure it always 🙏🏻 #grandtetonnationalpark #snakeriver #wyoming #anseladams @anseladams #nationalparkweek #reichallenge #optoutside #nationalparks #findyourpark #nationalparkservice @nationalparkservice #bucketlist #fullcircle #tinybigadventure #gooutside #kidswhoexplore #adventurefamily #travelingwithkids #toddlertravel #1000hoursoutside #happykid #globetrottingtot at Snake River

Grand Teton National Park - @proudchristianfather 💙💙💙 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––------ Colorful Sunrise at Oxbow Bend - We experienced a very colorful sunrise on Saturday morning. The reflection was perfect, and we had some wonderful mist on the pond. I was there as one of the hosts of the American Photo Treks summer workshop. What a great group. Sunrise, sunset, Milky Way, repeat. :) Exhausting, but we got some great images and had a blast. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––------ 📷: @davesoldanoimages –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––------ Follow @proudchristianfather and enjoy the show as I build the greatest parks and recreation 🏜 gallery on Instagram. 🏕 🗽 Turn on notifications 🎙 ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––------ #got_greatshots #tetonnationalpark #reflection #grandtetonnationalpark #nationalparkgeek #nationalpark #usinterior #mypubliclands #findyourpark #roamtheplanet #discover_wyoming #beautifuldestinations #watchthisinstagood #hqnature #fiftyshades_of_nature #traveler #discover #jaw_dropping_shots #agameoftones #artofvisuals #depthsofearth #ourplanetdaily #earthscope #wildernessculture #yourshotphotographer #national_park_photography #mygrandteton #arewethereyet #proudchristianfather #mybestigposts ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––------ at Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is considered a pristine ecosystem with almost all of its current plant and animal species existing there since prehistoric times. Native American peoples on this region were migratory—following the elk— and others did not form any sort of significant settlements in this region. The Grand Tetons, named les trois tétons (the three breasts) by French-speaking people have a large number of ecosystems contributing to its exciting biodiversity. Some of these include glacial, alpine tundra, sub-alpine deciduous forest, plains, wetlands, lake, and river. Shown is the sunset over the Great Tetons. #grandtetonnationalpark #nationalparkservice #nationalparkweek #optoutside #lestroistétons #thethreeboobs at Grand Teton National Park

As I clean my phone and sort thousands of pictures (annual spring cleaning for the mind), I realize how extremely #grateful I am for being able to #explore all these great places and meet amazing people! I've become more aware of changes in myself and how I've opened up to #newcultures & #cuisines which are so enjoyable! Wouldnt trade the #travelbug for anything in the world!☺️ Next up is #peru 😉 . . . #traveling #nyc #washington #leavenworth #cheyenne #vegas #boston #sandiego #sanfrancisco #santacruz #vajrapani #yellowstonenationalpark #montana #utah #wyoming #grandtetonnationalpark #chicago #houston #travelislifechanging #forevergrateful #lovetoexplore #travelusa #discovering #travelstoke

You have to be creative in order to find success as area rivers begin to rise. The natural runoff is something we embrace as new habitat becomes submerged forcing aquatic plants, insects and fish to adapt and move in order to survive. As anglers we need to move away from the main river channels and seek small creeks, ditches, backwaters, springs, headwaters and tailwaters in order to find feeding fish. 😍 at Yellowstone National Park

Grizzly 399 has emerged from her hibernation! Tom has taken some great pictures! I think I’ll be heading to Jackson this summer to see 399 again! Then I’m going to treat my home with the bronze sculpture of her paw print that we sell in our gallery! Find it on the website by clicking the link on my bio! at Grand Teton National Park

Moments. They’re always fleeting but sometimes those moments are so impactful, they create a memory either good or bad and shape who we are as a person. Bees are so hard working but they always “stop to smell the flowers.” This picture reminds me of one I took during our first year of RVing. It was a Tuesday morning at 9:30am and I was going for a walk looking at the blooming cactus flowers in Palm Springs, CA. I had to pinch myself - was this really my life?! Not even the year prior I was so unhappy working two jobs just spinning my wheels. If you’re stuck like I was and feel like you need a restart or a detour, take a chance on a dream you have and make it a reality. A year from now your life may not look anything like it does today. Ours doesn’t. 🙂 at Moulton Barn

So we took a little break from posting for a few weeks, which means that we missed sharing the second half of the showdown. We put together our top 10 favorite shots from the last 5 weeks. It might be because we just spent an hour watching Top 10 videos on Youtube. -C . #10 - After a day of skiing at @jacksonhole I took the pupper for a tour in #grandtetonnationalpark. Good thing he's cute, because he's terrible at skijoring. Oh, and the photo totally isn't staged. Last summer we went on a #lewisandclark journey, following the Missouri River up to North Dakota and over through Montana. It was full of grassland beauty, largely flat and treeless until the end until we looped into #grandtetonnationalpark and Yellowstone and visited Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This summer we're excited to get to see more mountains and some really serious trees in the Pacific Northwest. These views battle with ocean views for my favorite. If you could go anywhere, where would you go? at Grand Teton National Park
