What is you goal? . I think it is important to have a goal. Whatever it may be. It keeps you motivated. . I know sometimes when I am training I sometimes need to buy new workout clothes or runners to keep me motivated. . But at the moment what is keeping me motivated is just how training makes me feel after. I have been doing a new training plan for 4 weeks and I can honestly say my core has never been as strong. And I am just starting to feel better altogether. . I'm always looking for new ways to improve my health and fitness but I know sometimes the motivation just isn't there. Getting back on track! - Returning to your normal routine after a long vacation is really hard. - Getting up early, getting a workout done right away, going to work, keeping the house clean... My schedule has been off for almost 2 weeks so this morning I just didn't want to do it... - I didn't want to get up early, I was dragging my feet before starting my workout, I am dreading work, and cleaning the house feels daunting. - But... You know that feeling after you make up your mind to do “that thing” you’ve really been wanting to do. And then you flippin did it. Doesn’t it always make you stand back and wonder why on earth you waited so long to just do it. But either way, you are so grateful you finally did. . That’s how I feel right now. To think just 13 weeks ago so much about me was completely different. I can show you the pic of the physical change. But I can’t show you a pic of the mindset shift. Being able to finally add an exercise component back into my life was a total game changer. . I just want to encourage you. Do NOT give up. What you need is a little time, a little self-care, and a lot of self-love. Commit to doing just 1% better tomorrow then you did today. Then each day will compound on top of the other. For the past couple weeks, I have really been focusing to implement this concept into my workouts. . . The second I want to quit, I push myself harder & farther because I know that’s where change will come in. Sure enough, I have noticed my body composition start to change & for the first time in months, I’m starting to slowly see my legs change. 😁 . We all have areas of our body that take longer to lose fat because unfortunately, you don’t get to choose where the weight comes off. For me, it’s my legs. I have always been self conscious of them & they are always the first place I gain weight & the last place to lose weight. 🙈 . Yesterdays workout had me sore today... and a hurting big toe (wth 🤔). It must’ve been those 40 burpees 😧. I think I was so focused on getting them over with that I didn’t pay attention.
