Tanned yet? No 😆 . There is definitely something to be said for comfortable surroundings. . New Meso & Welcome return of some old favs but these felt all kinds of weird. 🤪 Main thing was to get in, get done and out. There is sun to find and jet skis to ride. 👇 I’d like to say no shoes, belt, toight leggings didn’t affect me, but it did. Week 1 so we can only progress from here. . Anyone else find the same when they’re away from usual training environment?

WHY YOUR ABS ARE HIDING! Who here has seen a decrease in ab action since the holiday season🙋🏼‍♀️😂 Whether your abs have gone MIA or they haven’t surfaced yet in the first place.. These are some possible reasons why your abs might be in hiding.. •Body fat is too high. This is the most obvious. No matter how much you train, if your body fat is high then they won’t show. This is different for everyone and also depends on where you store your fat. •You don’t train enough! If you want that athletic look then you will need to pick up some weights and use your muscles •You train too much! Don’t overdo it as this can lead to inflammation and fluid retention.. especially around your cut. Train hard and recover smart. •You don’t train right! Being skinny doesn’t necessarily = having abs. Do more weight bearing exercises and activate your core in whatever you’re training. •You eat Foods that cause bloating and inflammation. I recommend eating whole foods and staying away from anything that causes discomfort. •You are too stressed. If you stress your body out then as a survival mechanism it will store fat/fluid around your midsection. •You eat too much. Super large meals will leave you looking and feeling full and bloated. By all means, eat lots of food but try spreading them out over more meals per day. Only eat until you’re 80%-90% full. •Alcohol. Sorry to say it but too much drinking and your abs will disappear into thin air! (More on this in another post) P.S YES is is possible to maintain having abs all year while having a life, staying healthy and WITHOUT the use of drugs. It does take time and commitment and potentially a bit of a change in lifestyle. 💫please stop guessing your way to results💫 So yesterday I got out of the gym and went over to a city centre corporate gym for my workout, A change of scenery never hurt anyone. Now when ever I do this I try and make sure my session is as productive as it can be and I get in and out. As always I know what i'm doing in the session with my note book and make sure to record weights to ensure the next session I make progress. It become very clear to me that no one else was doing this and that they where just guessing there way through there time in the gym. People then wonder why they don't make progress. Now Im not trying to show off here but its a pet hate of mine that if you don't have a plan you wont succeed, So many people do it, Turn up at the gym and guess their way through hoping by some miracle they will reach their goals. Don't even get me started on the boyfriends taking their partners through as chest session for an hour with no thought to what females want to train, such as legs, glutes, shoulders, arms, but thats for another email. Get yourself a plan that supports your goals, stop waisting your time and money in the gym and invest in a coach that cares and knows their stuff. Our motivation comes and goes, for all and always. I didn’t really have a very specific aim over summer and motivation wasn’t as high. Now I’m really enjoying this #strongman training, I feel beaten up but happy. A little snippet from yesterday - 75kg sandbag (horrible cumbersome thing) lift to around 6’2” or 2m. Axle (it’s thick and hard on ones grip) deadlift 210kg and 220kg actually felt pretty good. Tuesday morning brings me some Vanilla and Strawberry protein pancakes with all things pink and fluffy on top 🤤 Using @barebells Strawberry Shake along with Oats, Egg Whites, Coconut Flour and Vanilla Caesin for the batter. I highly recommend using mini bands if you’re getting into fitness or want to diversify your workouts👍 especially for the lower body (booty). You can wear them around your knees for exercises like squats, deadlifts or leg press to increase glute engagement, or to increase the intensity of a movement without adding weight. They are also great to remind you to push your knees out and get your glute medius (aka the side glutes) to fire, which is often weak for most people. Week 3 @kelseywells PWR program. Today I trained legs and core with my PT. I also completed an @sweat app Legs Recovery. I’m having some issues with my right rotator cuff with referred pain to front deltoid and peck so going easy on arms this week. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻I have a speed recovery.
