Have you ever wanted to give up when it gets hard? And did?
Have you ever wanted to push thru to the end to see what your results will be?
Have you ever had to pause for a second to catch your breath and tell yourself that you don’t have to quit? .
All of these are ME! Honestly and complete vulnerability at the moment, I have such a hard time with my knee and sometimes I wonder why I keep pushing it because of the damage I could re-cause or why I push myself knowing “I’m GOING to re-injure myself”
With today’s workout I was in TEARS!😭 Literal tears because I wanted to give up and quit! I refused and did some MAJOR modifying... but it still got done! My knee was bugging me and still is but I can’t give up on myself... I’m my own worst enemy, critic, and yet still best motivation I can have for me! .
This program is not a joke and it’s not a want this is a NEED for me! I NEEDED something different and this is just week 1... DON’T SELL YOURSELF SHORT OR GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!! Go after your goals, crush them, and set new ones even higher! Every success came from a failure of some sort but even “failure” is only improvement for the future...🤷🏼♀️
This video is time-lapsed so you may not be able to see me crying or holding my knee and grimacing at the pain... but it was there and it was intense. I will say this though, if you are rehabbing any type of injury please know your physical limitations and consult your doctor! I modified almost every move after 5 minutes in because my knee could not take the high impact. (It looks like I was doing great, but reality was I was STRUGGLING!!) But that did not give me the excuse to give up on myself. Push yourself and excel but take care of yourself too!💪🏼
