One of my go-to #warmup sets 👍🏼 10 #overheadsquats ➡️ 10 #goodmornings ➡️ 10 #pushpresses ➡️ 10 #russiantwists ...repeat 3 times! This bar & the med ball are both 15lbs. I do this (or a different #lowweight / #bodyweight set) AFTER at least 10mins of warming up (I #jog for 5-10 mins, then do several #dynamicstretches 🏃🏼‍♀️🧘🏼‍♀️), and BEFORE doing more intense #exercises or using heavier #weight 🏋🏼‍♀️ Warm-ups and #cooldowns are SO important to #physicalhealth ...and I promise your #workouts will feel better if you make #warmingup and #coolingdown a #habit 💪🏼 Note: this also makes an awesome #beginnerworkout and can be done with less/no weight! I've never been able to execute push-ups before, not even one. Failed and gave up. However after training for a couple of weeks today I've managed 5! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I remember @whatwouldsophiesay telling me to persevere and keep going, she said 'You can do it Beth!' which gave me the inspiration to challenge myself. Working on my upper body and core has given me the strength and fitness to begin my journey. Push-ups help you focus on your arms, abs and your lower body, all at the same time. They train your muscles to work together and become stronger. It's just a matter of committing some time and dedication and watch the results unfold. If you can do push-ups then great keep them up as the benefits are enormous.
