Snow and ice covered roads, a brisk NE wind and periodic snow showers....but that didn't keep me from my long run this morning. It was a little slower paced, but given the running conditions, I'm happy with it.
But what makes me even happier is how my body continues to push through, and respond positively even when the conditions might not be ideal. That is where I thank the nutrition I fuel my body with every day!
A couple days of nutritionally supported intermittent fasting this week to shed my body of the toxins we absorb every day combined with a high protein, vitamin and mineral dense balanced diet the rest of the time fuels my body with what it needs to perform at its best!
Not everyone is looking at running the number of miles I run......I have my eye and heart set on a marathon this year......but everyone has some kind of health and/or wellness goal. Fueling our bodies with the right nutrition is seriously the first step in helping us reach those goals....no matter what they are!
I have been fueling my body with a nutritional system for almost 2 years now and at age 44, I feel better now than I did 5, 10 or even 20 years ago!
