Real talk: skin issues. I’ve never been one to suffer from problematic skin (besides dryness) & would say im pretty blessed. However, probably due to stress, I’ve had unusual breakouts this last week & ya girls not happy about it! We are what we eat & your diet can make a HUGE impact on your skin. So, this week I’ve been consciously trying to add in more SKIN FOOD.
Also, do you guys ever make anything & you sit down to eat it & are like DAMN I KILLED IT!? Yeah, that happened with this sauce I’m about to tell you about.. the problem? I have a tendency to just throw things into a blender without noting how much I use, because.. lazyyy 🤷♀️🙈 but I couldn’t not share this! Nothing beats a big plate of perfectly roasted veggies & protein, smothered in a sauce IMO. I used hemp hearts as the base because they are little miracle workers- full of omega-3’s which are essential for skin health. They’re also full of healthy proteins & other nutrients. I totally notice a difference in my skin with an upper omega-3 intake. Try increasing yours if you’re experiencing problematic skin & see if it helps!
So, if you make this, you’ll have to use your taste testing abilities to find measurements that fit your tastebuds! (I’m sorry, next time I’ll write it down! 😂) But in a blender I threw together:
-3/4 cups @manitobaharvest hemp hearts
-1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp dried parsley + chives + a sprinkle of dill & 1 tsp ish garlic salt
-juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp ACV
-2 garlic cloves
- @thenewprimal buffalo sauce
