“Jenny, how are you always so motivated?” 🔹Well it’s my job….to keep all of my clients motivated and on track. But I am not always motivated and you aren’t going to be either. That’s one thing I can promise you. 🔹You don’t/I don’t always feel like sticking to my diet or working out instead of going straight home after work. 🔹But what is it that overwhelms your daily thoughts when you are most motivated or the day after you didn’t get your butt to the gym/ stick to the diet?? I know for me, I got sick and tired of hearing my own voice in my head…”I’ll do better tomorrow.” Or “I’ll run extra at the gym so this wont count.” Or “I want to lose weight before _____.” Or “I can always start fresh tomorrow.” 🔹If you solely rely on motivation to get you results…sorry to break the bad news, but it ain’t gonna happen. It is the times that you are least motivated that you NEED to stick to the plan NO. MATTER. WHAT. The people that see results and reach their goals are the ones that make it happen even when they are tired from work and kids, even when the weather is crappy, even if they forgot their lunch, or their loved ones don't understand, etc. Those are all silly excuses that YOU CAN HANDLE. Yes, there are times that life truly gets in the way. But if you aren’t letting the little things get in your way, you have more room for the days that you really need to catch a break. 🔹I GET IT. IT’S HARD. But what is harder? Looking back at all of those months and TIME that you continue to stay stuck and continue all of the negative self talk. I’m never very creative with meals and while I don’t mind cooking, i definitely don’t love it. My husband also gets really bored of eating rice, some sort of taco meat or chicken with veggies all the time, which I don’t blame him. So we decided to try out @hellofresh and after the first week I’ve been sucked in and will probably never be able to cancel my subscription 🙈 the food has been phenomenal! The only thing I’ve noticed (in tonight’s beef bulgogi bowl) they sent 85/15 beef which I replaced with 92/8 which made quite a difference in the fat. Our favorite meal so far was the Italian chicken sausage with spinach and ricotta ravioli but this beef bulgogi bowl was a very close second. 👌🏼 at West Bloomfield Township, Michigan

📍HOW TO EAT OUT WHILE DIETING📍⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ One of my core fitness rules is this: Your diet plan should never-EVER take away from living life & spending time with others.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ Many people get obsessed with their weight loss goals they end up isolating themselves, avoiding social events, spending time with friends etc.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ It might give them more control, but it’s no way to live life...⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ Trust me. I’ve been there ⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ I used to bail on friends and turn down invites left & right — all out of fear that I wouldn’t have total control over my food choices.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀ ⁣⠀⠀ Sure, I was able to stick to my diet. Wooooo!!😩. In reality, that need-for-control thinking is a big reason why I ended up unhappy AFTER losing weight.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀ ⁣⠀⠀ We all wanna be as healthy & fit as we can ⠀ We all wanna socialize & live our best lives too 🥂⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ And the good news is you can absolutely-positively go out to eat and stick to your diet. It just takes a bit of thinking and planning 📝⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ First, you'll wanna look up the menu ahead of time.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀ ⁣⠀⠀ You don’t HAVE to choose the “healthiest” or lowest calorie option, but you don’t want to eat like an idiot either.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ Get what you want - just be reasonable ⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ Next, you’ll want to find the nutrition info of your meal.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ If they provide it online or on the menu, you're good to go! If not, I'd look for a similar meal from another restaurant that does have nutrition info.⁣⠀⠀ ⠀⁣⠀⠀ Now comes the important part —> knowing how many calories is in your meal, adjust your OTHER meals to fit. Brag moment🥳 I hadn't done a body scan in awhile but today I hopped on and it showed body fat percentage DOWN 6.5%. Body fat LOST 9lbs. Why the bands? # Why not just put more weight? Well, because it’s different. The stimulus is different. # 🔹45lbs is 45lbs at the bottom of the lift, top of the lift & during the course of the movement. It never changes. Wether you’re doing press or rows. # 🔹Bands on the other hand are not. They get heavier as you come to the end of the movement. # I choose to use this technique because I like the way it changes the way it feels & having weight get heavier towards the sticking point will probably help you get stronger. 💪🏽

It literally would feel like the back of my leg was detaching from my body (sounds dramatic but if you’ve ever torn or partially torn a tendon you get what I’m saying lol)😅 I’m thankful any time I step foot in the gym now, simply bc I’m well and able to. I never take a leg day or even simple walk for granted. Obviously there are people who have been in worse conditions and been through worse injuries, but the point of this post is for me to say never take your body or what you’re able to do for granted. Camarão à Provençal... - 🔸1kg de camarão VM sem casca; 🔸100 g de manteiga; 🔸50 ml de azeite extra virgem; 🔸4 dentes de alho bem picados; 🔸3 colheres de sopa de ervas de Provence picadas (tomilho, alecrim, louro e manjericão); 🔸2 colheres de sopa de ciboulette ou cebolinha francesa picada; 🔸Sal e pimenta-do-reino a gosto. . It’s been a minute since I’ve made a salad. I used to make them a lot last year to take to work or have in between my classes but then I just stopped and I’m not sure why. I’ve mentioned how I’m terrible with eating enough vegetables so I’m going to be eating more of these. My salads consist of spinach, cucumber, vegetable blend (corn, carrots, peas), black olives, tomato, raisins, tofu, and my own honey mustard; a combination of vegan mayo, honey, and mustard.
