I have struggled with this idea for almost a year now. I've swapped and changed my mind, doubted myself, fallen off track and then gotten back on.
Tonight I'm sharing with you a challenge and commitment I've made for myself. Realistically I'm putting myself in a pretty vulnerable position, because if I fail, I'll do it on such a public platform.
By March next year, I want to be walking on stage for my first ever fitness comp. This means the next ten months will be solely dedicated to food prep, training and sleep. I'll be sacrificing so many aspects of my life, drinking tea instead of dining out or alcohol, strict sleep times, more intense training, counting and tracking everything.
And I'm going to document and share this whole journey with you.
Why? Because I've got a long way to go before I'll be stage ready, but I want to be able to show anyone that if you put enough time, energy and focus into your goals, you can achieve it. I have never felt so mentally strong and focused in my life... it's actually shocked me a bit.
I'm so lucky to have supportive and inspiring people in my life that will back me all the way, however I'm also prepared for people to doubt, mock and disagree with me. To them, I say bring it on.
This will be the greatest and hardest challenge I've ever done. It's public now... Let's do this 💪
