Please read what he has to say down below. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "✅ Push-ups will work wonders for your upper body, increasing the muscle size & strength of your overall arm/chest/serratus/core areas - BUT - of course, if you done right. - Doing push-ups with poor form offers weak results, or worse yet, it could cause an injury that makes any push-up uncomfortable. Push-up form often falls apart at the elbow angle. When you bend your arms to lower into a standard push-up, the elbows should form a 45-degree angle with your torso. This gives you the most power and muscle-building effects for your chest. - Decreasing the angle will increase your triceps recruitment, making it an awesome exercise for arm muscles development. If you really want to target your triceps, you could even switch the surface at which your pushing yourself up: try doing them on a medicine ball to isolate & target your triceps more, study shows: - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1508143/ - Anyway, for a standard push-up, place your hands a little wider than your shoulders and parallel to your armpit line. Bend your elbows, and keep them stacked over your wrists. You may have heard that cardio kill muscles. I've also heard it's "muscle wasting." Whatever the terminology, does cardio ruin muscle gains? . . Adding cardio to your current exercise program, will obviously increase you caloric burn, for that given day. If you were to follow the same diet, as you would, without performing cardio.... You would put yourself in a significant calorie deficit. This calorie deficit can make gaining muscle hard. Add several intense cardio sessions, each week, and you will have an even harder time gaining muscle. . . However, this does not mean cardio ruins your muscle gains. Cardio itself has very little effect on muscle mass. However, if you fail to make up for the extra calorie burn, in your diet, you will likely experience weight loss. This weight loss could be muscle. . . So, if you are adding cardio, for the simple purpose of training your cardiovascular system, simply make up for the extra calorie need in your diet. Si te cuesta muchísimo valorarte, aceptarte y reconocer que eres capaz de lograr y conseguir todo lo que deseas, probablemente te estés convirtiendo en tu propio enemigo. Los pensamientos negativos lo único que hacen es quitarnos energía y arrebatarnos toda la fuerza y vitalidad que tenemos desde que nos levantamos hasta que nos metemos en la cama. Cuanto más me voy creyendo mis pensamientos negativos estos se vuelven más fuertes, arraigándose a nuestro estilo de pensamiento y es mucho más difícil evitarlos. Cuando te encuentres atrapado en un pensamiento negativo ponte en movimiento. Cambiar el chip para despertar pensamientos positivos no es tan fácil cuando tu mente está ocupada buscando la manera de sufrir. Es un gran momento para salir a dar un paseo, salir a correr, bailar o practicar yoga. HOW TO DO BARBELL SQUATS IN 2 DIFFERENT WAYS. In this video I want to teach you how to squat using 2 different techniques. The two techniques are the high-bar squat and the low-bar squat. The name comes from where you place the bar on your back when squatting. I specifically wanted to teach this because people think there is only one way to do it correctly. This couldn't be further from the truth. One isn't better than the other, just different. So here are the two types. 1️⃣ HIGH-BAR SQUAT: -------‐‐------------------------- ➡️ Place the bar on top of your traps. ➡️ As you start going down, your knees will bend first; before the hips. ➡️ Knees will go over your toes. ➡️ Focuses the quadriceps primarily. The only downside here is that in the long run it will wear out your knees if you keep going heavy, but otherwise one if the best quadriceps exercises. 2️⃣ LOW-BAR SQUAT: --------------------------------- ➡️ Place the bar on top of your rear delts, through the mid traps area. ➡️ When you start to go down, your hips will bend before the knees. ➡️ Doesn't focus on one muscle but puts the entire leg musculature under tension (quads, glutes, hamstrings, and even adductors). ➡️ Knees don't go over your toes. ➡️ You will have to lean forward at the bottom. ➡️ Feet further apart, toes pointing out. People think this is incorrect because you lean forward. But that is part of the form for low bar squats. That's what makes the hamstrings and glutes work more. You will naturally hit less depth on this one though you still need to go deep enough so that your thighs are parallel to the floor. There is a reason why strongmen and powerlifters who use this technique have hit multiple word records with healthy knees. I hope this helps!
