How’s your sleep?
Adults need between 7 and 9 hours of sleep per night. Are you getting enough?
You may think you don’t need that much sleep, but did you know that poor sleep has been linked to weight gain? 🌙
Being chronically tired puts stress on the body, stress causes the hormone cortisol to be released, and cortisol tends to cause your body to store fat around your middle. 🌙
So how do you get more sleep? Unplug 30-60 minutes before bedtime. Your devices, that is. The blue light stimulates your brain which makes it harder to fall asleep. 🌙
