This is precisely why I do float therapy on prep or anytime I have a rigorous training/ teaching schedule. If there’s one thing I learned this past prep is now important and beneficial RECOVERY is. I made great strides in my overall conditioning due to STRESS management techniques like float therapy, cryotherapy, and lymphatic drainage massage. I will post more about each one in later posts. When we exercise this adds stress to the body. When we diet (competition prep) this also adds stress on the body. Now throw in all your other responsibilities and lack of sleep. What do you think this does? It adds stress to the body. And what do you think happens when the body is overtaxed with stress? Not sure? Day 1 of Summit! Started the day with a quick photoshoot📸 !! Completely awkward to be honest , but so fun too!! 😍 I have some of my favorite friends by my side these next few days!! I had no willpower to change my eating habits or to even get up and get anything done during my days. Postpartum depression is real but being mentally unavailable is also real. I didn’t want to do anything with life and I didn’t want to deal with my daily tasks and I just ate everything that was in front of me.😔😔😔 Being on Tru for so long has allowed my cravings to be at the bare minimum for sugars and bad food. I am making better choices on a daily basis for me and my children that also gives them better eating habits. I have the strength and will power to make my own choices and get up and get things done! Holaaaa 🤗 esta pregunta me la hacen casi a diario... Cuánto me demoro en ver cambios en mi cuerpo? ☝🏼 Todo cambio necesita una adherencia, no puedes pensar que en dos semanas tendremos un peso ideal ya que el organismo necesita hacer algunos cambios internos y eso se demora. ☝🏼el organismo debe regular y nivelar el sistema hormonal. ☝🏼 estas saliendo de ese “estado de confort” y el cuerpo estaba tan cómodo en reposo, comiendo y flojeando ☺️ que no le gusta salir de ahí, entonces eso dedica tiempo y ganas. ☝🏼basta con esas dietas relámpago, cosas mágicas, lo que fácil llega fácil se va, y el efecto rebote te lo encargo! 😩. ☝🏼y la respuesta es jaja dale mínimo 12 semanas (3 meses) para que todo esto suceda... es imposible que 6 kilos de grasa se oxiden en un mes o 15 días, quien te lo venda es por qué te miente 🤥. ☝🏼 dale duro al entrenamiento ☝🏼no pases hambre ☝🏼 la hidratación es importante ☝🏼 el descanso mínimo 8 horas de sueño. ☝🏼 se realista y ama el proceso. ☝🏼 no te peses ni midas a cada rato. ☝🏼 coloca una meta personal Real y a corto plazo ☝🏼 y no te compares con esas fotos fitness, hay muchas que incluso no son reales (retoques) y si no ell@s no se demoraron un mes en estar así 😅.
