MOBILITY, ACTIVATION & WARMING UP👇🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Apart from the ridiculous amount of “booty band” videos you seen on here there isn’t all that much information on how to or the importance of warming up a muscle group before hitting the weights 🤗 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Practicing mobility, activation & light general warm ups before lifting will reduce the chance of injury, improve your range of motion & encourage full utilisation of muscles 🤘🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So here are some of (disclaim: this is a selection of possible one) my fav upper & lower warm up movements & a cheeky lil’ full body complex i like to use before i train 🌈 Please like & save for your next workout if you find this helpful! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Upper body mobility - opening up chest and shoulder 2️⃣ Upper body warm up - activation for the back and shoulders (especially each deltoid) 3️⃣ Lower body mobility - opening up the hips 4️⃣ Lower body warm up - activation for the glutes (side and back) 5️⃣ Barbell full body complex - with a light barbell warming up shoulders, quads, traps, hamstrings & back ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🤩 & just like that you are ready to lift some heavy weights! Our bodies must sleep and rest in order to be able to exercise. If you’re not getting enough sleep your body will not have time to rest and recover. If you’re trying to loose weight or tone up and you’re not getting a good nights sleep, this could have an adverse affect on your body. . . 🌑Here are a few things I try doing before bed to ensure I get my best nights sleep. . . 🌜Make a bed time routine; go to bed the same time every night. . . 🌛Reduce blue light exposure a couple of hours before bed. Increased exposure to blue light can affect our natural circadian rhythms making our bodies think it’s still day time and we should still be awake. Before bed, I will turn off any unnecessary lights or put on subtle lights or candles; I’ll try staying away from my phone/devices about 1.5hrs before bedtime and will charge my phone in a different room to the bedroom. . . 🌜Naturally increase melatonin from the foods I eat. Certain foods are naturally enriched with melatonin including berries, bananas, oranges, pineapple, almonds and walnuts. Studies have also shown that melatonin also reacts with your immune system and can serve as an anti inflammatory - double win! . . 🌛Get plenty of exercise throughout the day (even more incentive to get those steps up 😉). While your getting outside to #stepitup ensure to take advantage of that vitamin D; this will assist with melatonin production at night. . . 🌜 I try to reduce the amount of water/liquids I consume before bed. This reduces the likeliness of interrupted sleep to use the bathroom. . . 🌛 Read in bed. I find it so hard to resist falling asleep when I’m reading (especially with the book I’m reading at the moment, not the more engaging book😒). . . 🌜 Take a few deep breaths. I try focusing on my breath when I’m lying in bed. I find this also helps with settling my mind. . . 🌛 This doesn’t really work for me, but it might for you - listening to rain sounds. YouTube/iTunes has hours upon hours of rainforest/water/ocean sounds to send you off to sleep. . . Happy sleeping, beauties 💕 . . P.s. does anyone else’s boyfriends fall asleep in under 2 seconds?😭 at Sydney, Australia

Have had the best time this last 2 weeks. If you have followed me for a while you may know how hard the last 2 years have been. We have been through so much as a family it's unreal. Making ends meet every month sometimes running out of money before pay day comes all because someone in 2017 used me like a piece of rubbish and terminated my employment simply because he used all my knowledge for his companies own gains. Since then we have seriously struggled. This holiday was the first we could afford in 3 years. It meant everything to us it wasn't just a holiday it was proof we as a family can get through anything. Right now I am feeling genuinly depressed at the thought of going home. I know there are some great things happening for us, I get to marry my wife again after proposing on the Spanish steps, I have lots of new clients and all my existing ones to get motivated again, we have properly planned out some family time with our little girl so those make me hapoy. But I also know the tough times are not over yet. Plank Hareketi:Yüzükoyun yere yatın. Dirsekleriniz 90 derece olacak şekilde yerden destek alın. Omuzlarınızı aynı seviyede hizalayın. Başınızdan topuklarınıza kadar vücudunuzu düz bir şekilde tutun. Sadece dirseklerinizden ve ayak parmak uçlarınızdan destek almalısınız. Plank pozisyonunda önemli noktalardan biri de dirseklerinizin omuzlarının altında kalacak şekilde konumlanmış olmasıdır.
