Recently I've been asked for tips for staying on track and reaching your fitness goals so thought I'd share my top 3 🤗💛
1. WATER. Seriously, cannot stress this enough. Whatever your goals are, whether you're cutting, maintaining or bulking, water is your best friend. 😆💕 Drink lots of it!! I have also noticed SUCH a massive correlation with drinking water and my appetite. On days where I haven't drank enough water, I've found I've ate non-stop throughout the day, as really my body just needs water!
2. DON'T RESTRICT YOURSELF. When adopting a healthy lifestyle, so many people immediately have the mindset that there's things that they cannot and must not eat, ever. Having this mindset will likely result in you craving these things more and more, making the whole process so much harder for yourself. I have a small treat pretty much every single day. Whether that's chocolate, biscuits, cake🍫🍩🍿. I'll never restrict myself if I know my body really wants it.
3. REST. I know sleep is mentioned so much, but it's seriously so important. I know I have definitely seen the best results when I'm well rested and not stressed. Plan ahead and organise your week to give yourself that peace of mind and help you to stay on top of the game. If you have planned that you'll go for a walk on Wednesday, or the gym on Thursday, you're far more likely to get up and do it and stick to smashing your goals 😆 at Dundee
