Many misunderstand carbs and believe they are full of pure evilness. In fact, carbs are good for your health and shouldn't be strictly deprived. (Follow accordingly to your goals.) Carbs are the basic sugars, starches and fibers in the products we consume. According to The American Diabetes Association, they note that, "carbohydrates are the body's main source of energy. They are called carbohydrates because, at the chemical level, they contain carbon, hydrogen and oxygen." When consuming carbs, these carbs must be healthy, but what is considered a "healthy carb?"
Healthy carb are oats, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and etc.
(Low in calories, sodium and lack refined grains/sugars)
Good carbs allows you to intake fiber, for fiber promotes weight loss helping the digestive system (Constipations and irregular stools.)

Protein is critical when it comes down to fueling your muscles when they are starving. Protein can also be known as, "building blocks." (Animo acids) Without protein, our body would lack the replacement of worn out cells, and the extra support needed to grow and replenish.
Protein come in a variety of forms such as meat, plant-based, dairy and in such supplements (Whey Protein/bars is not necessary, but if struggling for intaking protein, one may do so).
Meat: Salmon, Roast Beef, Lean Meat (skinless), Chicken, Eggs, etc.
Plant-based: Beans, lentils, nuts
Diary: Greek-yogurt, cheeses (feta)

Fats are a fuel–energy based for the body. When consuming fats, avoid saturated fats, for SF are known to be very problematic for your health. (Heart) Along with eating more healthy unsaturated fats, these types of fats are easier to break down in our system such as: avocados, seeds, oils, salmon, and peanut-butter. When consuming fats, make sure to avoid trans fats found in processed food. (Fried, snacks, margarine)
