What was your “a-ha” moment that motivated you to take control of your health? Mine was a combination of being over the weight limit to do a zipline, and my doctor telling me that I would soon be on medications for diabetes & high blood pressure if I stayed at 280 lbs. I just got SICK AND TIRED of feeling blah all the time...tired of avoiding physical activity because my weight made it so uncomfortable...tired of avoiding pictures because I was so self-conscious about how I looked...tired of not being able to enjoy everyday life because I was trapped in #obesity & #foodaddition. I prayed for deliverance from it, and God made a way. Yes, that included #WeightLossSurgery, but it also included SO much more. He delivered me from laziness and gave me motivation. Monday Steps 🦶 - How did I get all these steps in with a desk job 🤔 - I hinch the house a lot 😂 but I do sit down all day at work. I never EVER use a lift or escalator 🛑 always find the stairs. I walk for 30 minutes at lunch and I did a 30 min jog in the evening. - You can find the time to get your steps in if you really try 😇 - Steps make all the difference 🙌🏻 we need to get at least 10,000 steps a day just to stay healthy on the inside. Above 10,000 steps a day and you are going to look better on the outside too 🚶‍♀️ 👙 - The basics to weight loss are nutrition, steps, hydration, rest and sleep. These are my absolute non-negotiables for my clients. A phone doesn’t record steps accurately enough. It needs to be a pedometer, Fitbit, Apple Watch or similar. - With all of these in place you cannot fail to lose weight, look and feel healthier 🤷‍♀️ it’s that simple! - Forget fad diets they make you sad ☹️ who actually enjoys not eating carbs, only drinking shakes or cabbage soup 💨 sod that 🖕🏻 - #healthybodyandmind #healthylifestyle✔️ #nutrition #weightmanagementprogram #fitness #personaltrainer #moveyour🍑 at City of Salford

So I had a big big shock about an hour ago 😂 Over the past 6 years, I have been very sick. I accumulated a bunch of diagnosis’s including M.E/CFS, Fibromyalgia. I never expected to recover, since everything is so severe. But here we are, with my previous illnesses actually being a miss diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease!
