This is a classy health bowl! ❤️ . Swipe for ingredients 👉🏽 (serves: 2ish)⤵️ 2 frozen ripe bananas 70-80 g oats 100 g probiotic yoghurt 1 tbsp cocoa powder 30 g raw protein 1 tbsp PB 1 date 1/4th tsp vanilla essence . Had to try another sheet pan meal! The chicken breast & veggies will still be redone at some point lol. This super easy meal was just calling my name tonight. These mango jalapeño chicken sausage have just the right amount of kick to them! 👊🏽💃🏻👌🏽 . . . Chicken Sausage Sheet Pan Meal 1 package Chicken sausage(4 links) 2 zucchinis 1 bushel of asparagus 1/2 or whole onion(used the other half from stuffed pepper meal) 1 T extra virgin olive oil 1/2 T minced garlic S&P to taste Heat oven to 400. Cut asparagus into fourths, zucchinis in half long ways and dice, and onion into large chunks. Put into a large bowl and add evoo, garlic, S&P. Evenly spread onto a sheet pan(I always put parchment paper over mine). Cook 15 minutes. Cut chicken sausage into 1/2 inch pieces(about 8 pieces per link). Add sausage pieces in after the 15 minutes, & cook 15 more minutes.SIMPLY ENJOY! • Hey, I did a thing 🤟🏼 Snowmobiling in the mountains is no joke. Nothing like stepping out of your comfort zone & trying new things. And almost dying countless times. First time I went on a vacation where A) I literally chose to be in -20 degree weather and B) the beach and margaritas were not involved. And to the smokin hot instructor I had... I feel pretty lucky to be the only girl you’ve shared your passion for snowmobiling with. I hope I didn’t ruin it for you 😂 Seeing you in your element made me so happy & I’m super thankful I got to share that passion of yours with you. You had so much patience with me & I really appreciate all of your pep talks. We make a damn good team. Pan Seared Steak with Cilantro Chutney I haven’t eaten red meat in a while and got a craving deep in my bones for it. Since I was packing for a trip, I wanted something simple and snackable for my flight. I’m currently eliminating certain things from my diet to figure out what makes my gut the happiest. As of today, I am gluten and dairy free so knew the wide array of sandwiches and cheese plates at the airport and on the airplane would not do...so these little juicy bits came through! . . STEAK- I prefer to sous vide my steak before cooking it on the stove top. This technique makes the steak so much juicer and easier to cook without over cooking. •Tenderloin • 4 garlic cloves •2 Tbsp salted butter •salt •pepper 💎I set the temperature at 140 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours 💎Season steak generously on both sides with salt and black pepper. Place steak in a large zip lock bag and add 4 garlic cloves cut in halves. Add 2 Tbsp of butter. Zip and Sous vide! 💎Remove steak from bag and pat dry. Heat 1-2 Tbsp of olive oil. Sear on each side for 3 minutes without touching (medium-well) . . CILANTRO CHUTNEY •1 cup loosely packed cilantro leaves •1/2 cup mint leaves •1/2 tsp crushed red peppers •1/2 lime •dash of cumin •salt to taste 💎Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until almost smooth. Plate. Serve. || Gas in the Tank || ••• buying into, and actually believing, that the idea of eating MORE food can actually lead to BETTER results is something that I, along with what I would say the majority of others, have had a hard time wrapping my head around. UNTIL I started eating more and seeing results. If you want to build lean muscle (which I hope you ladies do, because really what’s sexier than being strong??), you have to eat. As @lj_fit22 always tells me, you can’t drive a car without gas. And your muscles can’t grow without fuel . 🔑 Since beginning active ACL recovery (meaning being able to actively utilize all the muscles in my surgery leg), my daily macros (fats, carbs and protein) have increased to the highest they have ever been in order to have extra fuel to begin building the muscle mass I lost over the last seven months. Have I gained a few pounds, yes. But my clothes fit the same and I can see my hamstrings, quads and glutes gradually starting to rebuild, which is way more important to me than the number on the scale. 🔑🔑 If you aren’t seeing the results you are working so hard for, take a look at your diet. Plan your meals according to your targeted macros (please consult with someone who really knows about nutrition for guidance and not a random person you think knows what they are talking about because they have a ton of insta followers or have the body you are working towards 🙃) and utilize a good app to track food intake (I use @my.macros ) to keep you on track. 🤞I promise you, you don’t have to live on air popped popcorn and apples (I’m looking at you mom) to lose weight.
