Two posts within minutes of each other! I must be bored.
As I previously stated, I had been in a slump lately with my lifting. Today, that changed.
Today I pulled 405 for a set of 3, something I’ve accomplished a few times. I then told myself I wasn’t done. I told myself that wasn’t good enough for today.
I told myself to suck it up and push myself. I pulled 425 for a set of 3, which if you all pay attention to my posts you’ll know is my old 1RM.
While I just about folded in half and died, I didn’t. I fought through and got my reps!
Stay safe out there guys.
Remember this journey is you against you. Stop comparing yourself to others whether it is their progress, muscle definition, overall physique.

The pic on the left was before I cut down from 188 pounds to 168 pounds in 3 months. For the past 4 weeks I have been bulking and have gained 14 pounds. Its definitely not all muscle because that's just impossible but the difference in my weight is irrelevant. I did not have a six pack at the 185 range before and now I do thanks to proper nutrition and macro counting. I still have 8 more weeks of bulking up and I can only wonder how much weight I'll gain. Through my @strongeru nutrition coach @bostonglen and with killer workouts at @workplaycrossfit and @northeasthealthandfitness I think I can achieve a sculpted frame at 200 pounds.
