EXERCISE IS MY SAVIOUR⁣ ⁣ My passion for exercising has intesified (idk how that’s possible 😂) during this tough chapter of life. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it! ⁣ ⁣ It has been an instant stress relief and mood booster for me. No matter how down I felt, I knew after going to the gym I would feel better. Maybe not great but a little better 💪🏽⁣ ⁣ Having this as an outlet for me has done wonders with my healing process 🙏🏽 everyday I am so grateful to workout and making mental improvement everyday ❤️⁣ ⁣ Not to mention this BOMB ASS SET from gymshark, like how can I be down when I’m wearing this DAMN 😍😍😍⁣ ⁣ I was a little tight for time on the weekend so I did a full body workout combo inspired by my girl @lady_g_fit ⁣ ⁣ 💪🏽 RDL into Arnold press ⁣ 💪🏽 side lunge with bicep curl ⁣ 💪🏽 sumo squat pulse with tricep extension ⁣ 💪🏽 reverse lunge with front arm raise ⁣ ⁣ I repeated this set three times and best believe I was making more intense faces by the end 😂⁣ ⁣ What’s your go to for stress relief? ⬇️⁣ at Steve Nash Fitness World

TRAINING TIPS with Melissa B Fitness... ✖️Start the week with your toughest session and make sure it’s on a Monday. Psychological and physically this will have a benefit on setting you up for a more positive week and allow you to push harder on day 1 so you can continue the week at with solid momentum. ✖️Pick your gym outfit the night before. Especially if you train early in the mornings you’ll find having your outfit ready to go is already a step to confirming you are going to the gym and less chance of you deciding not to go. If you’d like me and are always buying new Activewear it can be fun mixing up different gym outfits and can definitely be a motivator to go to the gym. ✖️Dont arrive at the gym blindly not knowing what your going to workout. Have a plan or a program to follow so your training with purpose and can gauge how long you will need in the gym, what muscles your working on. W2D2 Bench Press: 10lbs /8% increase from last weeks top set of 8 reps, pause for 3 seconds on the first rep of the set. Hello IG friends I hope y’all are having an awesome Tuesday ! I did leg day, Quad focus today it was hard to start like other days but once heated up I get it done ! And you should to. The beginning is always the hardest but fight through it and start 👊🏽 you’ll feel great after you accomplish it! With more energy and satisfied. I fast forward the workouts don’t think I was going that fast lol. Take your time and as always focus on them legs for stronger and more defined legs. Remember you can’t skip leg day ! Just like I can’t skip chest day ! They all play a big part for stronger and healthy body. To be prepared for anything life hits you with 👊🏽 💪🏽. Get moving 🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♀️. • As usually all exercises 4 sets/ 15 reps. Finished with some HIIT Today. 15 minutes. 40 sec. as fast as you can handle, 20 sec. lower the speed and repeat until you hit 15 minutes 💦💦💦. Hard but fast and effective !

When people freak out or ask how do I know I’m not going to end up smacking into the floor and dying when dropping? Well, it takes time and practice.... I know the drops I can do at 4m, 6m, 8m and well anything 10m and above is almost unlimited haha but it’s like anything you do regularly, you learn, you adapt, you figure out what works for you and what doesn’t and you do it again and again and again.... But please always start your aerial drops journey with a good crash mat! Just in case 👍 I have only ever proper proper fallen once going through a new move, quite a few years ago now, but if it wasn’t for that crash mat who knows what could have happened.... But needless to say that was the big wake up call I needed because when I started getting some good strength going I started getting cocky.... And cockiness will get you badly hurt or even killed.... And don’t get me wrong I do forget things from time to time hahahaha! I was embarrassed. I was angry a lot. I let little things bother me. I had my defences up. I didn't like being the biggest girl in the room....in the gym....in life. 😢 ... That picture on the left? I was trying to be sneaky when I took it because I didn't want anyone to judge me any more than they already were. I remember taking the pic (just under a year ago) and feeling worthless. Like, I had no right to be in the gym. Like people were thinking to themselves "why does she even bother?" 😳 ... The picture on the right. Fam.....the mindset change!!!!
