Patience is the bad word no creative entrepreneur wants to hear, but the old adage is true... good things take time. Some things are just worth waiting for.
Healthy businesses build strong roots with slow, steady growth. There's no getting around it. And while rapid growth and success is much more glamorous, it's just not a sustainable business model. Now I'm not saying we should procrastinate. Procrastination will kill a business just as quickly. But I do wonder if sometimes we believe we need to jump from the nest to test our wings, only to realize we forgot to build wings.
Those businesses we're molding and shaping, how can we nurture them? What ways do we have to sacrifice what we want for what they need? The truth is, we can't do #allthethings and do them well. But when we focus on building up the rights things, that's when the magic happens.
Slow, steady growth is still growth. Slow, steady growth creates strong roots. 💪
