Here's a video of the scarf I wove in December! I've been so busy lately so I figured I should post a little something! Unrolling videos on looms are some of my favorites so I thought I'd share mine! The warp is some fuzzy acrylic yarn from @lionbrandyarn and the weft is Polwarth/silk that I dyed, blended, and spun myself. The scarf was super long and was a gift for a dear friend ☺️ Been busy lately with schoolwork, RA duties, applying to the BA/MA program, and my continued struggle with mental health. Just got back from Spring Break which was a much needed getaway. 🌸 I am currently working on a new spring shawl which I am super excited about! My 7yr old insists on thumbs up'n every time she rlly approves of the taste . So this isn't your traditional smoothie ,bc well, I am weird and spontaneous mostly lol. Let's just say a little of our Halo sea salt caramel ice cream (6g sugar) ,which is coconut milk based ,ended up in it ,along with a lil dark chocolate coffee blend ! The more calories for us ,the better ! Along with the frozen berries ,it was packed with kale and spinach ! I had to add a few ounces of water because of the 4scoops of protein we added but normally ,we just add coconut water or a nut milk ! We are over here trying to figure out how can something loaded with raw greens (2cups) be so gosh darn tasty!!!!!! Looks are surely deceiving but it reminds me of chocolate covered berries !no coffee taste whatsoever! One of my favorite crock-pot soups to come home to! Beef barley with mushrooms. What you’ll need: broth (water, onion, carrot, celery), beef chunks, pack of mushrooms, and barley. Throw it all in the crock pot with some salt/pepper, set on low for 4 hours, and enjoy! Hits the spot, especially on a chilly night ❄️. I know what you’re thinking, barley isn’t low carb 😱! I do typically eat low carb, but there are certain foods I will make an exception for on occasion - barley is one of those foods because it has a high quantity of fiber and does not make me feel as bloated as other carbs do.
