Health also doesn't have to be hard. Three simple strategies give your body the best chance to do what it natural does on it's own - HEAL. Our bodies are incredibly resilient and built to repair and restore itself. When we eat real food and not "food like substance," rest our system, and move with intention; the changes are incredible. I've seen this in my own life and so many others. I'm so grateful. Remember, it doesn't have to be hard. You don't have to cut out entire food groups. Your body is incredible.

I love chocolate! I mean who doesn’t? (ok I know some people don’t but they should right?) And I love teaching people how to make their own healthy chocolate. It’s super super easy. You can do it with adults you can do it with kids. I have done it often with my preschoolers in my mini chefs class. * I love that I can now make chocolate anytime I want, with no dairy, naturally sweetened and way better than what you can find in the store. Plus you can add anything you want to it once you have your base made! And oh my gosh I have made peanut butter cups, turtle like ones, ones with delicious essential oils, and much much more. * So you wanna come play with me? Love the balance that comes with regular macros days. I get to balance carbs, fat, and protein because that’s what my body needs. Sure low carb/keto diets work and relatively fast, but long term the put us at risk for brain/cognitive issues and hormone imbalances which are counter productive to fat loss and over all health. Our brains need glucose, which we can get from so many whole foods like fruit, vegetables, legumes and grains. Carbs are not the enemy, “Food Like Substances” aka processed foods far from natural state are. Our muscles also use the glycogen from carbs to rebuild and store to prevent break down. So go ahead, eat your carbs and enjoy them guilt free. 🍎🍓🍒🥝🥦🥬🍠🥕
