Cuttlefish sausage dyed jet black with its ink, a strange and delicious appetizer at Xin Rong Ji, a Michelin Star restaurant specializing in Taizhou-style seafood.
I also loved the sweet potato noodle noodles with sea anemone and young bamboo shoots. The sauce is so amazingly rich.
Something as simple as radish slices are also braised in a complex and delicious broth.
Xin Rong Ji isn’t the cheapest restaurant (approx. HKD800 per person!), but it is certainly worth it for a special occasion. In fact, it was my birthday on this visit. 😍
