PROTEIN! Ok lets talk vegan protein. Specifically Pea, Cranberry, and Brown Rice Protein Blend. “Peas are a high fiber, low calorie, nutrient dense vegetarian SUPERFOOD and are also a remarkable source of plant-based proteins and amino acids. Improves vasodilation and promotes a healthy heart.” “Cranberry is unique in that it is the only 100% plant protein that contains 25% complete protein including all essential amino acids. Boosts the immune system”. “Standard cooked rice has a protein content of only 5%-7%. To make concentrated rice protein, whole brown rice is ground into flour and then mixed with water. One of my favourite carbohydrate sources pre contest and off season has to be Cream of Rice. . . This little gem is very easy on your digestive track making it an ideal carb for pre workout. . . Due to its easy digestibility a large volume can be consumed making it great for pushing up the calories in the off season. . . Today’s #fruitfeast! Who ever sold us to the idea that fruit is bad for you🧐🙄 With every bite you take, it’s like a sweet sensational explosion in your mouth! Who doesn’t like sweet! But look, I totally get where the fear around fruits come from. For anyone that is a carbohydrate junkie/pre-diabetics/diabetic, adding too much fruit at once to your diet, will NEVER be a good thing. You will spike your Blood Glucose levels. #Tuesdaycontinued ! Darn! The first and only #organic #melon I bought this year (probably in the last two or ahem years to be honest!) And it went over-ripe over quick! Au menu ce midi c'était salade de pousses tendres (mesclun et roquette) et sa sauce miso-jus de citron-huile d'olive, accompagnée d'une potée aux lentilles vertes, graines de coriandre, wakamé et légumes de saison (pommes de terre, carottes, blettes, poireaux). 100% français. 95% local. 100% bio. Et pas mal de recup' de légumes déclassés du magasin ! (et pourtant tellement bon!) Réchauffants et très digestes, ces plats de légumes cuits doucement conviennent à tous, particulièrement le soir et aux personnes de constitution à prédominance Vâta. Pour un midi vous pouvez y ajouter une céréale (sarrasin, millet, riz de Camargue, orge perlé...) pour avoir un plat complet végétarien plus consistant. Les lentilles vertes, riches en protéines et en fer, sont une pépite nutritionnelle. Pensez-y ;-) Reconnectons-nous aux traditions du passé ! We had a bariatric patient ask how quickly our #vitamins dissolved in warm water. Truthfully, we didn’t know & it was an excellent question from a unique perspective. To mój tęskny wzrok do zdrowego i niezdrowego jedzenia, z którym muszę się pożegnać na co najmniej dwa miesiące 😔 moim dzisiejszym prezentem na mikołajki była lekarska diagnoza po długim czasie niejasności 🎅 Jeszcze nie wszystko wiadomo, ale już wiem, w którym kierunku iść ☝ muszę stosować okresową dietę lekkostrawną z ograniczeniem produktów zwiększających wydzielanie soku żołądkowego, więc chwilowo na moim profilu zabraknie surowych warzyw i owoców, pełnoziarnistych produktów i umiłowania niskiego indeksu glikemicznego, a także porad, gdzie można zjeść najlepsze cheatmeale (chyba, że będą odpowiednie 😉), nastąpi za to kilkumiesięczna era #leczjedzeniemłatwostrawnie 🌱 chcę potraktować to jako challenge i odmianę, żeby móc wymyślić dużo pyszności dla siebie i dla Was, jeśli również zmagacie się ze stanami zapalnymi w przewodzie pokarmowym i dojść do perfekcji w układaniu takiego jadłospisu.
