Success is really a personal reflection of what you think it look like in life. As a younger man I thought successful people were makings tons of money.
I equated success by the number of things that I added to my life. The only problem was that the things I kept adding were the very things that held me back in life. Things like fear, envy, jealousy, anxiety worthiness and the list goes on and on. Do you look at other people and attempt to copy the exact similar steps to make their successful journey your own? To some degree this does work. Only if you choose to make it your own. And not be a success clone of another. Those rose-colored glasses get sprayed over with the thoughts projected onto the stage of life through your thinking. All of these added layers of thinking become eventual barriers to Your success.
For me real success at this point in life comes down to subtraction instead of addition. It is about seeing those layers of thought that are getting in the way and create stories accumulated over your lifetime. They say "Hey, you can’t be successful because of unworthiness, who you know, what you do, the number of Instagram followers." It is time to see the value of subtraction in your journey towards having a successful business or career. From a personal point of view, working on vocal communication skills exponentially allowed me to be seen as a leader without having the actual title of one. My executive presence from voice work increased quickly. Want to know more, reach out to have a chat about this happening for you.
