When I was pregnant, I made a promise to myself that after I had Arlo I would do everything possible to get healthy and back in shape. I’m on week 3 of working out 6 days a week and on week 4 of clean, healthy eating. Today, I did a 30 minute dance workout followed by day 1 of Couch-to-5k. I HATE running, but you know what? I feel great! Am I where I want to be? Nope, but I’m getting there one day at a time.
Y’all, I challenge you to do something for yourself...more importantly your health. It’s crucial to take care of YOU so you’re able to successfully take care of everything else.
We all make excuses...
It’s too cold outside.
I have so much to get done today.
I have three kids and no time.
I don’t have money for a gym membership.
I don’t feel like it.
I’d rather watch tv on the couch.
See what I mean? Excuses don’t make you better and help you move forward. Whether it’s a small walk with your family, crunches on your living room floor or choosing to drink water instead of your usual soda. We all start somewhere!
