The past couple of weeks have been extremely stressful, personally. And it’s not going to let up anytime soon... this is exactly the kind of situation where it’s easy to fall off the wagon and resort to emotional eating, and nutrition? PSHT! I’m not going to lie, there were a few days I did exactly that (Helloooo... birthday cake for breakfast! It’s not even my birthday!) I allowed myself 48 hours of this nonsense and it was time to rein it back in, before it became a terrible habit.
It might feel great in the moment, but so does a mani/pedi! Get one of those, instead, because at least you’ll still feel good about it later!
When we consume nutrients, we have more energy, our overall mood is improved.... I won’t go into all the other physical benefits because there are so many and I’m busy getting a mani!
Anyyywayyyy, it’s time for me to reclaim my healthy eating, because that will be something that will assist me, as I power through this period of life. There’s always going to be something that knocks us off track.., it’s how we come back from it that matters!
