“For I know the plans I have for you,” says God. “They are plans for good and not for harm to give you hope and a future” - Jeremiah 29:11 ————————————————————Even though this series has been all about showing how God has great plans for all of us. It’s also been clear that life is not always straightforward. The same can definitely be said for the life of @jsenelefao Jesse Sene - Lefao. ————————————————————
Jesse grew up with a passion for rugby but with his family constantly having to move around the country and him having to spend time living between his Parents and Grandparents it meant that focusing on Rugby was almost impossible. Jesse then had to emigrate to Australia and get used to a new country where often he was treated differently and unfairly because of his colour. ————————————————————
Despite facing so many obstacles and challenges there was a clear plan mapped out for him by his Uncles, who had all played International Rugby and had told Jesse he was destined to do so too. By the age of 11 though, it looked like there was a different plan. Jesse was told time and again that he just wasn’t good enough to be a Rugby player let alone an International star. ————————————————————
Jesse had faith though that no matter what others were saying, God had a plan for him and whether it was to do with Rugby or school, he just needed to continue to work hard. At the age of 17, Jesse was selected for his first representative team and from that point on he never ever looked back. (Story available via link in bio). ————————————————————
The point is, it doesn’t matter what anyone else has to say about what you can do. The only reason others will think that it’s impossible, is because God will never show someone else your dream. After all he planned out your dream for one person and one person only and that person is you.
