A super-fast, non-complicated, throw-together dinner tonight! #macro organic buckwheat pasta, with left over slow cooked beef, mushroom and veggies. Give this one a go the next time you’re home from work late. While your pasta is on, finely dice a shallot and slice a good few mushrooms (I think I used about 8 of the button ones). Add a nob of butter (about a teaspoon), a tablespoon of olive oil and about half a teaspoon of dried thyme to a sauce pan. Cook the mushrooms and shalotts until soft and then add in a punnet of cherry tomatoes cut into quarters and a good handful of fresh parsley. Cook until the pasta is done, drain and then add to the mushroom mix. Dice up a bunch of broccolini and add in, along with the juice of half a lemon and some salt and pepper to taste 👌🏼 I’ll add fresh rocket just before serving and then top with toasted almonds. All done in about 20 minutes 🙌🏼

BLUEBERRY LOVE 💙 . Guten Morgen zusammen 🌞 Dass ich süße Nudeln gegessen hab kam glaub ich erst einmal vor. Das war vor etwa 10 Jahren. Damals hab ich noch nicht so viel gekocht wie heute, experimentiert hab ich aber schon immer gerne 👩🏻‍🔬 Ich wollte damals meinen Papa und meine Oma bekochen. Erst gab es eine Vorspeise mit Tomaten und dann hab ich Bandnudeln 🍝 mit Bröseln und Apfelmus 🍎 gemacht. Ich weiß noch genau, dass meine Oma die Nudeln trotzdem gesalzen und mich das sehr irritiert hat 🙈😅 Jedenfalls hab ich vor ner Weile das Rezept für süße Nudeln mit Heidelbeersoße bei @ahafoods entdeckt 😍 Ich hab das Rezept für ihre Soße zwar nicht nachgemacht, aber die Idee ließ mich einfach nicht mehr los! Und da ich Heidelbeer Cashewgurth @happy_cheeze daheim hatte, bot sich das perfekt an 😁 Es war soo köstlich und ihr Rezept klingt so lecker, dass ich es sicher noch nachmachen werde! Bei mir gab's also 95g Vollkorn Dinkel Spirelli mit einem Becher Cashewgurt, vermischt mit zermatschten Heidelbeeren und Kokos Drink @joyaworld, um die Soße zu verdünnen. Und natürlich Heidelbeeren als Topping 😋 Das tolle am Cashewgurth ist, dass es keinen Zucker zugesetzt hat, sondern nur mit etwas Agavendicksaft gesüßt ist 🍯 3 Zutaten in meiner Soße, sonst ist da nichts nötig 🤷🏻‍♀️ und sooo lecker 🤤 Danke für die Inspiration liebe Kaja 😉 . Meine riesige Portion hatte 468 kcal | 83g C | 16g P | 6g F Wollt ihr weniger Kalorien, nehmt ihr einfach weniger Nudeln. Wollt ihr mehr Protein, nehmt Nudeln aus Hülsenfrüchten. That's it. Almost time for those weekend breakfasts 😋🥞🍳 . I know what I’m having! I found the best sourdough bread @lilouartisanpatisseriebah ( available at the Riffa branch Friday’s only, or anytime by pre order ), and have been having lots of fun with it. Here, I tried a French toast recipe that’s a little different because it uses flour in the egg/milk mix. The result was a fluffy, restaurant quality French toast that I loved. Sourdough makes for a great French toast base, and a lot of sources online will tell you it’s better for you than normal bread- and I LOVE how sourdough bread tastes. Win win! Find the recipe below, from the ever useful allrecipes.com Ingredients: -1/4 cup flour - 1 cup milk - pinch of salt - 3 eggs -1 tsp vanilla - 1/2 tsp cinnamon - 1 tablespoon sugar - 10-12 slices of sourdough bread or bread of choice Method: -Measure flour in a mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar . - Heat a lightly buttered frying pan over medium heat until hot. - Dip slices of bread in liquid mixture until saturated. Cook bread on either side until golden brown. - Serve with maple syrup and fresh berries - Tip- to keep cinnamon evenly dispersed, give the mixture a slight whisk each time you dip a new slice of bread. REVIEW: @padella_pasta, a quaint lil pasta joint in @boroughmarket 🍝🧀🇮🇹. This wasn't my first time so I knew exactly what to expect. 👀 Pictured are the iconic pici cacio e pepe; stracci gorgonzola and caramelised onions; gnocchi with nutmeg butter with an almond and pear tart to finish. Sooooo goddam good 🤤. All of it. . This place, for me, really is a must visit institution in London. Definitely some of the best pasta I've had outside of Italy. As an amateur chef, eating here was so educational learning about simplicity. Being able to compose flavour profiles with few ingredients as possible and really letting them shine. There's really no need to overcomplicated most dishes. Notice how simple and vegetarian all of the dishes pictured are! When visiting you must try the pici, and if you are a cheese lover, the stracci if its still on the menu. The locally sourced cow's milk burratta from @delucamozzarella is also very difficult to turn down 😵. I was tempted to give it a 8.5 but at the pricepoint and what eating here has done for my own cooking, how could it not be a 9/10? This is feel good food at its core (its carbs haha). I challenge you to eat here and leave without smiling. I think it's about time I visited the mothership @trullo_restaurant 🤔 .
