July 17, 2018; The day where the word 'acceptance' was defined better. Where India took a major step and reunited the world. Where LOVE was proclaimed to be LOVE among every gender. Where the rainbow flag get to breathe with the other flags. Where our mother country, India, recieved so many 'Best decision' hashtags and more importantly, where every gender finally got the 'Right to Freedom'. After the Supreme court's verdict on The Section 377, Television channels, Newspapers, social sites were filled with just one news that came out to become a hashtag which says, 'LOVE IS LOVE'. But did they get the 'Acceptance'? There arises a question. Many of you will say, 'Yes' but most of you will say 'No'. "Gay sex is not a crime". (Did you just say 'Gay' and 'Sex' word in the lower tone?) The words, 'Gay', 'Lesbian', 'Transgender' 'Bisexual' itself is a shock for the society we are living in.
And if we put up the question to the sentence, 'Why?' The only answer I have got so far is, " It's bad" and if I counter question then, I have no replies.
Though, Supreme Court passed the Section 377 but in actual, In India basically, more specifically in the eyes of society, Did they get any acceptance?
A man is meant to Love and get married with a Women only, That's what we have learnt so far. This is how our parents evolved and this is how their parents evolved and the Grandparents and so on... But in every generation, There is sadly, one person who used to hide their identity.
Why a Boy cannot marry a Boy or a Girl cannot Marry a Girl? Just because it's against the nature? But, Just tell me, Who made it against the nature? We people! (Amazon Prime's original, 'Four More Shots, Please' here is a great example) @banij
Aren't the people falling in LGBT community humans?
Then why are they treated as, Untouchables or maybe, just Worse.
If any day your child tells you this, Just don't slap him/her. Don't shut the doors for them. Don't push them to marry someone out of their comfort but just 'ACCEPT' them. Hug them tightly and ask them about the person. (CONTINUED IN COMMENTS..)
