She’s gone through her fair share of hardship, not the least of which is being a single mom to three boys when her husband lost his battle to cancer. But when my sister-in-law, Penelope, told me several years ago that she really felt led to join me in business, I knew she was ready. The beautiful thing about pain and hardship is the strength and endurance that they can offer us. And I’ve seen Penelope find all of that and more in her suffering. I’ve actually seen her grow more confident in how amazing she is!!! And maybe that’s why tonight, as I watched her capture the attention of a packed room as she shared her story and the product portfolio with Rodan + Fields, I was smiling from ear to ear, beaming. She was truly amazing—so confident and at ease in what she had to share with that audience. And that is as it should be.
Penelope, I am so proud of you. I know how thankful you are to have Rodan + Fields. But I hope you know how thankful Rodan + Fields and I are to have YOU!
