I tried magnetic nail polish for the first time and I learned a few things.
1. It’s amazing.
2. You have to put on the magnetic polish extra thick for it to work. I guess I didn’t on my first coat, so the magnet didn’t really do anything. I tried another, thicker, coat on top and it gave me the result I was expecting. Next time I think one thick coat would be enough and give me even more dramatic results.
3. You have to get the magnet literally as close to the nail as possible. I held it for about 30 seconds. It was nearly impossible to not touch a least one nail (more like three in my case). 4. The color shift on these @bornprettystore polishes is amazing. It was hard to fully capture in the video. I can’t stop looking at them though.
So, I fully recommend you give them a try. I wouldn’t say it was hard, and next time I think it’ll go even better. The first video is with outside light, the second is inside with my camera light on, and the last is a quick tutorial (AKA me figuring it out). I used:
@sallyhansen Double Duty base/top coat
@sinfulcolors Black on Black
@bornprettystore Magnetic polishes- BP-MA02 Lightning, BP-MA01 Astral Realm, BP-MA04 Greenland Night, BP-MA06- Aurora Borealis, and BP-MA03 The Gravity (this one is on my thumb and is my fave. It worked the best for some reason.) The magnet I used is a cat eye magnet from AKWOX (available on Amazon). #nails #magneticnailpolish #bornpretty #nailart #magneticnails
